Good Morning! And to a much nicer morning than the last several mornings, weatherwise. Nice to be rid of all that rain!

So what does everyone have planned for the Fourth? We're going camping - again. With 4 other rigs. We're leaving Thursday morning and won't be back until late Monday. I don't think the campground we're going to has internet, so I won't be around to set the table for four days. But I know no one here will go hungry!

For tonite, we have leftover green salad and potato salad. I'm not sure what we'll put with it, but there are still brats in the fridge, so that might be it. DH always likes to think he has a hand in the menu - so I'll be running it by him. But between you and me, it will be brats.

What's the plan for your supper?

Good morning from an overcast but warm, Sw. Pa..Looking like we're going to get some of your rain, Mary......

Mary, How was your big family picnic, yesterday? I tried and tired, but just couldn't get there, maybe next time....

Today, I'm meeting up with 2 other gal friends for lunch...It's been a couple of weeks so we really do have much catching up to do...AND, when I go to lunch, that means no dinner...But, Jim is still nursing his "funny" tummy, so whatever we have will be light....
Today is my Kathy's 54th birthday...Can't figure out how she passed me up (years ago).....

Happy eating...............

Good Afternoon All......the sun is shining and we have been painting fences a mucky job....but has to be done every couple of years......I have stopped.....for elevenses....at 3.30 in the afternoon.......

Not quite sure when we will be able to go out again with the Caravan....its rather expensive now.....so we choose with care now....

now....you have heard me talk about Chris Needs our Radio Wales presenter....well....he has a Daisy Chain question segment....where a listener poses a question.....but if you have the answer you have to go on air and if correct you have to give another question....well....one chap gave a question......but it was the way he posed it....it was hilarious...so much so....another Radio Station picked it up and it has gone viral and the answer came in from all over the country.....so this is the question.....WHAT CAN GO UP A DRAIN PIPE DOWN.....BUT CANNOT GO DOWN A DRAIN PIPE UP.....I didn't know the answer but lots of people did......SO.....the first one with the correct answer.....its worth a couple of FAT
QUARTERS.......actually you may have heard it before....but it was new to me

todays menu.....Leftover Chicken and Salad.......Bread and Butter Pudding for afters......

Good morning!

Carol - I have no clue - never good at those kind of things - now trivia - that is something else!

Becca - saw the schedule that Mark and Denise are following - they will miss me completely - the Tetons are gorgeous! Love the Jenny Lake area - that lake is so clear.

Mary - what fun a camping trip -

We will be hiding out here - DS3 is on his way in on the 4th, so we will be just waiting for his arrival. He has fire training on the 3rd, so he can't leave any sooner.

Dinner - Mother Hubbard's cupboard is rather bare - lots of side fixins - but no main courses - so I will make a trip to the store and see what jumps in the basket. After Daniel gets here - I will be cooking for the crowd, probably every night for the next two weeks - then I will need a vacation! LOL

Enjoy,
Jana

Carol--too funny! It's an umbrella. Is bread and butter pudding like bread pudding? YUM-YUM!!!

MaryZ--we are having mac 'n cheese we caught last evening... Pasta salad and apple pie. Have fun camping again! I will be on "Mom duty" so we will stick close to town. We will probably go in and see Mom and then go to the fireworks in town.

Irish--I know I'm not any older than 39... how can our kids be pushing 50 like they are??? My aunt used to say she was 29, because she knew she was AT LEAST 10 years younger than Jack Benny. Every year I'd send her a "Happy 29" birthday card. Happy birthday to Kathy!

Carol--she was my aunt who always celebrated Christmas with a box of English crackers after dinner. We all put on the funny hats. She passed on Christmas, and in her honor we pulled out the crackers and toasted her after popping all of them.

Becca--enjoy your gathering! And your ice cream!!!

Jana--I know you will find something really delicious for dinner.

Happy last day of June!!!
