SUPPER CLUB - Fri, June 27th

Good Morning!
JOANNE - we have a restaurant here names Spiro's! It's an Italian/pizza place, but it's low quality and has no parking, so we're not frequent customers of theirs.
LADY CAROL - I did most of my chevrons in two 15-min sessions a day - morning and afternoon. Most days. I was afraid if I set it aside completely it would just become a UFO and never be done. I didn't work on just on unit until they were all done and then move on to the next unit the way she does in her directions. I would have been crazy! I worked on all the units of both blocks, but kept all the pieces apart and organized on cookie sheets.
BECCA - there are about 100 3" chevrons in each quilt - and each one has 6 little pieces. Arrggghhhhh. . . . . I agree with you about the yard. I hate a jungle yard. But since I llve in the middle of woods, I have let some things go back to nature and call it 'woodsy' rather than 'jungly'.
IRISH - oh, a stop at the library! My second favorite place to be! (we all know what our first fave is!)
now for tonite's supper menu: We have a bit of pasta left - enough to use as a side dish. So we'll grill some chipotle flavored chicken breasts from Costco and add a veggie yet to be named. I don't have salad fixings so it won't be that. But I do have parsnips, carrots, peppers, a turnip, and onions. Perhaps a mixed veggie saute . . . .
