Happy My Brother's Birthday Today! That rascal is 78 today. And I remember (I was very little) when he eloped and how upset my parents were when they found him and his good suit gone! lol! Time does go by!

CAROL - Love your saying yesterday! glad you are back with your CS quilt! Those chevrons are sure tedious. I broke them up into short sessions. I'd spend 15 min doing chevrons and then I'd take a break and either sew something else or go for a walk, or eat a cupcake or take a nap, or . . . . Made them much easier. And I did sew several backwards!

JANA - we don't have any cookies . . . . poor us. . .

Oh, now for supper. Well, since we're completely out of fresh food, I'm not so sure. I need to go to the store. But I do have some cooked chicken in the freezer and I might fashion some kind of casserole or maybe even soup out of that. I guess I'll wait and be surprised come 6pm!

Hope YOUR supper holds no surprises for you!

Good morning!

It is a busy day here with me teaching at the LQS tonight and my activity day girls in the afternoon, so I will grab some Popeye's Chicken on the way home - unless Sarah feeds Michael, then I will just have a bowl of cereal when I get back.

Tomorrow I will have to cook - especially since I am in the process of neogioating a new range - 6 burners, or 4 with a griddle in the middle or just the smaller 4 burner - DH is leaning toward the 4 with the griddle, but it is very expensive - I am dragging my feet on that one - so we will see. Price is the main factor - not willing to give up some of the bells and whistles on my cabinets.

Well - Enjoy!
Jana

Good evening All.....yet another warm and sunny day.....however we have been advised by the weather people......rain is on its way......spoilsports.......

Today was my Aber day.....and some bad news......our lovely driver Clive has lost the contract and finishes in September......well we all know the new bus company will probably throw in the towel after a few months......the drivers just do not like the route.....its very rural with narrow country lanes and a lot of reversing when meeting drivers coming the other way......and it has taken Clive nearly 10 years to build the service up.....needless to say its a Big Company that has won the contract......we shall see......

Maryz......I really....really....hate those blooming Chevrons.....so doing just a few at a time....then doing the other quilt I have just started.....to save my sanity and to stop my head hurting......

and so to food......todays menu.....yet another salad.....Cheese and Onion Quiche tiny New Potatoes.....Rice Pudding for afters.....going to do Proper food tomorrow....
