Good Late Afternoon All.......wow.....no-one at the table yet.....and did no-ne cook yesterday.......we had a Full English yesterday.....so I didn't need to.....love it when that happens

nothing much going on here today.....nice and sunny though.....doing a bit of gardening....so don't feel too guilty about doing a bit of knitting and listening to my Audio book....and that's where I"m off to now......

Todays menu......we decided to have a Salad today with a Quiche....and have the Roast tomorrow.......and Bakewell Tart and Custard for afters......hoping all is well with everyone.....and that Maryz"s travels are going as planned

Our DS2 come this morning.He leaves Wed to drive with his DS our DGS from NY to WA.He is a Pastor & is moving out there.Going to drive a truck.Long drive.

We are grilling chicken tenders & burgers.Hulley beans & salad.Ice cream for later...Becca

It is Father's day here in the USA. So, this mama (aka Nana) doesn't have to cook. The children take Dad out for dinner....or lunch or just come by for a visit. There are seven of them so it is a busy day.

Mexican food was the order of the day. Went by to visit a cousin who is in the hospital recovering from a broken hip. Dear Dad is now taking a nap. More kids will be by tonight. Oh, happy day.

Yes, we cooked or at least ate yesterday. Mary will never believe my DH told me he wanted her "mac n'cheese" instead of steak today. It is thawing in the refrigerator. I need to go outside and pick a lemon to bake it. We will enjoy a salad, mashed potatoes and green beans. For afters I made a fresh boysenberry cobbler and will enjoy a little butter pecan ice cream. Yum-Yum!!
