Is anyone participating in the online shop hop? I am and have been doing it for about 15 years. I think they are fun, they're free, and gives the opportunity to see all of the new fabrics,notions,patterns, etc. Most shops have free patterns, even the most well known instructors and manufactureres have freebie stuff.

Honey B, I never knew there was an on-line shop hop. Nice to know because it seems we're always traveling when the hops happen! Thanks for the info!

No I've never won the great big grand prize, however, I have won 6 whole yards of fabric, one fat quarter collection, Atkinson patterns, notions, etc. Didn't mind the prizes cuz I got to expand my horizons on what is going on in the quilting world.
They mailed me all of my prizes, so I was not out of any money. Anytime I don't have to pay is ok by me.

It's called the FabShop Hop. You find the little rabbit from a list of different quilt shops from US and Canada. You get to look at the fabrics, patterns, notions, etc from each shop. When you find the bunny, you click on it to submit your entry. Do this for every bunny you find. You will be entered to win prizes.

I have done the Online Shop Hop before and have won FQ's and half yards - nothing big. It is hard to do with limited internet. I am thinking about getting myself a tablet or something that I could take to the library and use their free wi fi. Just sit there all day and look at fabric!
