SUPPER CLUB - Sat, June 7th
Good Morning!
Today is our town's annual Maritime Gig Festival (formerly known as Harbor Holidays, which was SOO much easier to say!). I think we're going to walk downtown with Scottie and see what's going on. and maybe get my blue/white swap blocks mailed. Though it's a long way to carry them. . . maybe I won't do that.
BECCA - how are the biking duo doing? About how many miles do they cover in a day? Are they stopping to see things or do they just have heads down, trying to cover the miles?
Our pork chops were just as good last night as the night before, but I need to do something different tonite. Maybe I'll make pasole. I'm not sure how to spell it, but it's basically pork soup. A Mexican recipe. I think it has garbanzo beans and tomatoes in it. I think I have a recipe. And it can be as spicy as you like it. I like spice and zip but I don't care for downright HOT.
So, are you experimenting with supper tonite or going the Safe and Subway route?

Good morning from warm, sunny, purrrrfect, SW. Pa.....My kind of weather!
Mary, it sounds like you have a fun day planned....Not much happening around here unless you like trimming the hedges and cleaning gutters.....
And that just didn't suit my fancy, so I'm meeting my sister and her daughter and we're running for the day....My sister wants to get a few things for our upcoming trip...But, it will be a fun day, with lunch included......
And remember the chicken patties I've been trying to have for dinner? Well, it's a good thing those darn things are frozen..Yesterday, I came in the kitchen and Jim said he was cooking....Hot dogs and baked beans, so no chicken, once again....I'm just wondering if maybe I can have them today, although I won't be hungry......Oh well, one of these days!
So, I'm off (we all know that), people to meet, money to be spent and fun to be had.....
Happy eating.............

Good Morning everyone.Nice day here. Not too hot. After what the young man did cutting & trimming & me also I can sit back & enjoy looking at the place.
MARYz It varies from 59 to 90+ that he covers in a day.Mostly 80+ to 90+.I would imagine it is head down & ride.He said he was going to try & enjoy it more. But when you know 4,000 miles loom ahead it is pushing you. They do take 1 day a wk for rest.If you knew my Denise like I do you would know this is a GREAT sacrifice on her part. She supports Mark all the way.I pray they stay safe.
DH wanted burgers so I will add potato salad,& fresh blueberries.Ice cream too.
IRISH Just enjoy your outings. We need those days.
Have a good one....Becca
