SUPPER CLUB - Tues, June 3rd

Post by purrfect-lady » Tue Jun 03, 2014 3:43 am

haha! Jo - did I really post the supper club as a reply to the day before?? that's what I get for posting so early in the morning, I guess! and you found it!!

Carol - love your saying! I should put that on my fridge. and pantry.

I have no idea what dinner will be tonite. We have pork chops so maybe that will be on the menu - and leftover boiled and rice potatoes, so maybe potato pancakes and carrots and a salad. I might brown the chops and put them with a mushroom sauce and a bit of wine into the crock pot and then I can smell it all day long. OK, that's it! See - I always get inspired when I come to Supper Club! lol!

Hope your'e inspired, too.

Good morning from warm but overcast, Sw. Pa....

Mary, see, you have to watch what and where you post, someone will find you? lol I had to go back and look and sure enough, there you were...And you're right about Becca and I coming for a visit. Oh my the fun!

My day yesterday didn't materialize due to a "misunderstanding" with Jim...But, that's OK, he's feeling the "quiet"...Today, Kathy is picking me up and I'm spending the day keeping her company while visiting with Chris....

Carol, what a stroke of luck...See, you weren't meant to have the original machine, the one in the shop was just waiting for you to come by.....

And as far as dinner, I have a casserole in the frig that had been made for last night's dinner...In my frame of mind, I wasn't sure just what might end up in the "dish" but turned out pretty good, lol...So, Jim can have leftovers....

Happy eating...............

Good Evening All......we have had very dark slate grey skies today......but.....no rain......YET......
Having spent all that time "tidying" my sewing room......there was such a lot to get rid of.....just so I didn't move it all to one end of the room and back again....sooo....I have been taking a lot of my "other" craft stuff gradually to the Charity Shop....too much to take in one go...or even two....or three....or....you get the picture...and I have to say there is only one shop that gets all my goodies and that is the "Air Ambulance" as I am pretty disgusted at the high salaries the bods at the top think they are worth....the Air Ambulance is not funded and relies on public donations......now my trolly was so full.....a wheel fell off.....luckily was almost at the shop....and a knight came to my rescue....mind you.....now I shouldn't really say this.....but I nearly had to rescue him myself....lets just say he was a gentleman of VERY advanced years.....
but we got there in the end.....lovely man.....

Maryz......I need that saying on my fridge.....in BIG and BOLD letters ......

Irish and Becca....yes...wasn't I the lucky one...we go there most Saturdays for breakfast.....the little town is full of Antique shops....and that was the first time I had seen a sewing machine in any of them.......Que Sara don't you think.....anyway its having itself a clean and a tidy up.....and then I go looking for spares....

When I got home from Aber.....oh the aroma that greeted me....I made a Beef in Red Wine Sauce in my Slow Cooker with Onions and Mushrooms....with Tiny Potatoes and Mini Dumplings.....with enough leftover for tomorrow......and a Mixed Berry lattice Roll with Cream for afters.......so now all I am fit for is my easy chair and put my feet up until the new series of CSI starts in about half an hour.....

Carol

Late with dinner and I am not at home cooking, either. It is the Daddy /Daughter dinner over at the church. I already made chili to go one the hot dogs that I am steaming as I type. LOL

Enjoy,
Jana
