SUPPER CLUB - Mon, June 2nd

Post by purrfect-lady » Mon Jun 02, 2014 3:16 am

Did we take the day off yesterday?? I could have sworn that I typed in BBQ'd chcken and 3 aging potatoes . . . Maybe I dated it wrong.

Oh well, here we are now! coffee is on! We have leftover chicken so I think we're having chicken tacos tonite. Ole!

What sounds good at your house? Maybe your local Mama's Grill?

Good morning from overcast but warm, SW. Pa...It does look like rain but who knows.....

Mary, we didn't starve but for the life of me, can't remember what we ate...Must not have been anything earth shattering ....And come to think of it, I don't remember every making anything earth shattering!
All I can say, we had breakfast with our friends and that's it....

Now as far as today's dinner, it might fall in the same category as yesterday...I'm going to lunch with my regular lunch buddies and Jim just might be on his own or I might just pick something up on my way home.......One of these days I'm going to get "with it"......

Happy eating............

Good Morning to all.Nice sunny here.

Had a morning of Dr visits & errands ,nothing exciting.

So Subway today.Cannot get much easier.Sounds good to me.

Mary, I think you posted a "reply" to your own Saturday post...maybe! lol!

Irish...our day sounds like yours....on the verge of rain..I wish it would!

Becca, you would love it here...we are 3 blocks from Subway! And never eat it...I would, but Earl won't.

The June in Ole Williamsburg is over for this year, so no vendors for dinner tonight. It is "Dinner with the Pringles" and at the China Buffet...Earl really loves that and I do ok there, too.

Good Evening All......It is raining.....I will say no more.......

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:-

FRIDGE PICKERS...........WEAR BIG KNICKERS........

We were out yesterday at our friends most of the day.......ok.....the tale.......remember that lovely Treadle Machine his family wanted to sell....well one family member.....kept putting up the asking price.....it has been sitting in Sirs workshop for about 5 months.....so sunday we took it back.....don't want to get involved in any family feuds.....have enough with the one in my own family.....BUT....as luck would have it.....on Saturday when we were out for breakfast....we came across an old Singer hand machine in an antique shop....did a bit of bargaining.....and it came home with us.....in need of some TLC.....and I will be ready for those power blips we get in this village.......

Yesterday was a "Joanne Day".....but today I have had to become friends with my cooker.....so menu today.....Pork Chops.....Roast Potatoes...Carrots and Cabbage......Baked Jam Sponge and Custard for afters.....
tomorrow my friendly slow cooker will take over.........its my Aber day.....

Carol
