We had such a nice gathering of DH's family yesterday. He has the two sweetest uncles and it was their birthday's we were celebrating. And also his two nephews-in-law. there are four little kids, too, all cute and sweet but the youngest, 21 mo. old Braden, made my heart melt. What a cutie!

But now back to business. Subway seems to be a favorite menu item here. We rarely go fast food, but when we do, that's where we go. DH always takes the opportunity to go with Becca's choice. I usually choose the veggie sandwich. And we might even do that tonite! Though I do have a grilled teriaki chicken breast in the fridge. I can make my own chicken sandwiches using some onion buns I have, and add some coleslaw on the side. voila! Supper is served!

Hope you're not having to cook today! Unless you love cooking. In which case, I'll need directions to your house.

Maryz, nope, I am not cooking, my DDIL, Crenda is. It is a surprise, but she is a great cook. The only part I know is that there will be cake. Tanner, my 3 y/o, saw me yesterday at his house, and promptly announced that grandmas here, time for the cake and headed to the frig to get his piece! LOL

Happy Mother's day everyone. I am getting together with DD's and their families this evening for yummy dinner. We are having smoked brisket, potato salad, deviled eggs, mandarin salad, and for desert, brownies with ice cream and Strawberry topping or strawberry milkshakes. Yummmm!

Hi Everyone,
DH offered to take me both to breakfast this morning and dinner this evening. Yesterday I told him just breakfast out would be fine. We decided to have a steak dinner at home. Then this morning I changed my mind and cooked breakfast after Church. It was fine. We had a wonderful breakfast and my husband and I will enjoy our steak dinner too!
