SUPPER CLUB - Thursday, May 1st

Happy May Day!! My sister is having a good day, I'm sure. Yesterday was her birthday. She turned 62, and retired. And today is her wedding anniversary.
LADY CAROL - enjoy your knitting day. Sometimes we need some recharge days - even us retired folks! Where will you be going in your caravan? Do you have parks with utility hook-ups? We used to watch the Hamish MacBeth series on TV, set in Scotland. I remember one episode where a caravan was involved and it was parked in a green field along a pretty stream, a copse of trees nearby. I always picture you camping there. I'm sure you'd like it!
About the Celtic Solstice quilt, I made a few sample units (not whole blocks) but the colors she uses aren't turning me on. So I'm thinking about other colors and might just go with Christmas instead. I dreamed about it all night long and think I got it all worked out!
IRISH - how's your son doing? When will he come home from the hospital?
BECCA - a bet your little GGD was a darling and stole the show!
JANA - you have my permission to buy all the deck furniture you'd like! lol!
Tonite, since it's our last good day at about 85*, and the novelty of our new barbie hasn't worn off yet, we're going to do burgers on the grill. Bill will have a turkey burger, and I'm choosing a black bean burger - both from Costco's frozen aisle and both quite good, actually. The turkey burgers are big enough to split, but I prefer those black bean 'jobbies' so Bill can have his all to himself. Salad on the side.
Hope your weather is nice enough to eat out, too, whether you choose to or not!
