Has anyone seen the new presentation? Pat will be here on May 10 but I would have to go alone. I do not like going anywhere alone. Robbyn will be at Hershey Park with the Marching Band and Jim will be at work. Should I kick myself in the tushy and go or just sit out this year?

I am with Chriss. Just go Deb. I am sure you will have a good time, and have lunch out too. I go a lot of places alone, because I can do what I want when I want. Even when DH was alive we did lots of things together, but when it came to quilting things he always said "count me out", and "go have a good time". LOL

Deb--I vote to go by yourself. You will meet other quilters, and you are never alone in a crowd of quilters. They are just friends you haven't met yet. Treat yourself to lunch--take a quilt magazine with you and lay it next to your plate and look at it. Who knows, you may not be eating alone!!! Take your camera and share with us!

Deb Go for it.It isn't always easy going out alone but with quilters it is another story.I have found thur Quilts of Valor & the group I help at local Church that they all make you feel as though you belong.
Go & enjoy your day. Becca

Deb, I think you should go. Everyone should step outside their comfort zone now and then, and you'll be with other friendly quilters. I'm sure it will be a very worthwhile presentation and you'll have a good time and when you get home, I bet the best part of it will be that YOU DID IT! Don't forget your camera so you can share with us!

At our quilt reflections I went alone, took break in restaurant venue, quilters wait be seated, I ask waitress to escort me to the empty chair of chatty women, knowing very well they are quilters.
I wave guild members in line, to the front of line I go.. I meet people from out of town, out of country.. Not exactly correct manners, but then how I meet new ladies who bring good news of their small farming community.. We introduce each other, give good/bad reviews of the show.. Their quilters, one common bond.. Yeah?
GO GIRL! GO! Time of your life.. Never know what awaits you..
