We're heading into a spell of warm, sunny weather. I can't wait! Though rainy days do mean no guilt about spending them in the sewing room. Sigh. guess I can never be truly happy.

IRISH - so happy to be hearing good news on your son! and when you reach your old age and learn more about the BBQ, please share your tips and recipes with us!

BECCA - a junior flower girl? So cute! She would almost have to be a flower baby! I hope you got some great shots of the kids. They really can liven up a wedding!

CAROL - you got me so intrigued that yes, I downloaded that Celtic Solstice pattern. I haven't read it all yet, but I did get it. I want to go back and study more of the photos before I start cutting.

Last night we grilled pork chops, but they were so big (gotta love Costco!) that we shared one and have one tonite to dice up for some pork fried rice. I'll add some peas to that and put a salad on the side. We rarely eat bread with dinner. It's one thing we try to cut out so we can eat other things - like rice and noodles.

Good morning from a dreary, rainy, chilly, SW. Pa...But our grass is sure growing and getter greener by the minute much to Jim's dismay.....But, it sure is nice to see everything turning green, not just the stuff in my frig......

Mary, I really do need to "get with it" and start using that grill more often...There is sits, right outside the door, so close.....

Well, our dinner was so good last night, we're going to give it a try again tonight....That is, if I can keep Jim from eating the leftovers for lunch...But, if that happens, we have a buy 1 get 1 free coupon from KFC......

Happy eating.............

Good morning!

Today is a very busy one around here - so I think that dinner will be something that I can just throw in the crock pot. I have some pork shoulder blade steaks, they need long slow cooking - so in they will go with some seasonings - gravy will appear along with some potatoes and a veggie.

We will be playing outside most of the day - they weather is quite nice - storms are gone and we will warm up into the 80's by the end of the week. Seems like I need some outdoor deck furniture this year! HUMM.... we are going to Lowe's to get the tractor - they have some nice stuff - maybe I could just sneak it on to the tractor bill and DH won't notice! LOL I know better!

Enjoy!
Jana

Good Evening All......beautiful day today...warm too....and the sun shone......honest.....we are away with the caravan this coming week end.....but don't think we are in for a friendly weather forecast.....

Today....as I can knit in automatic mode....that's what I have been doing.....just to give my poor overworked brain a little rest.....and hoping it can be full steam ahead tomorrow with some more cutting out.....
Maryz.....well.....it sounds like you could be smitten too....downloading the pattern is just the first little step.....but those photos.....it makes me want to be up there with big girls.....

todays menu....luckily straight foreward with a little help from my friend the cooker.....Pork Loin Chops.....Creamed and Roast Potatoes.....Cabbage(from friends garden) and Parsnips....Ice Cream and Toffee Sauce for afters
