Good rainy morning!

JANA - be on the lookout - more wild weather is headed from me to you. that's what you get for flaunting the rules last night! lol!

CAROL - I Googled your mystery quilt. Duh, of course there were no photos - it's a mystery! But a great shot of the Cliffs of Mohr! I was there 10 yrs ago and have almost identical photos. And a scarf from their gift shop.

BECCA - the BBQ got the job done! The burgers were great. I think today will be something inside, though. It's really coming down cats and dogs out there!

IRISH - our deck is covered. the Barbie sits down one step on a big landing in the stairway down to the yard. That landing isn't covered but Bill was smart enough to pull the BBQ just to the deck so he could stand under the roof while he tended it. So he stayed dry, but boy, was it cold!

Tonite, I think we'll have meatloaf. I have one frozen that we need to use up sometime. Baked potatoes and a salad and maybe another veggie will round out the menu. This weather calls for comfort food!

I hope someone, somewhere is having nice warm, sunny weather!

Good morning from sunny but still chilly, SW. Pa....

Mary, we're having the sun which is great but so far our temps aren't high enough for me.....You dinner has to be one of my favorites...I especially like the meat loaf the day after in a sandwich with my home made relish, yummmm.....

Jim is going to help with bingo and I have a car party tonight so tonight's dinner will be ify....Last night, I held off on the popcorn and scrambled eggs with ham, green peppers, onions and called it dinner.....I'm saving that popcorn for a special occasion.....
Still trying to get rid of the ham, so Jim might be eating hot ham and cheese sandwiches tonight...And of course we still have cake for afters.....

Happy eating................

Good Late Afternoon.....here early today.....yesterdays rain has taken a ball of chalk(walk)and it has been really pleasant today....hope it stays that way for the week end that is only a day away......

Maryz....don't think I explain myself very well over Bonnie Hunters "Celtic Stolsice" quilt.....it was a mystery quilt she did in December.....I printed off the weekly instructions but wasn't able to start at the time.....so far I have cut out nearly two thousand pieces.....that does include my mistakes.....but the quilt photos are really.....really lovely.....I take my hat off to those very talented ladies who have completed theirs....actually our IZZY has done one and posted a photo....this was some weeks back....it must have been when you were travelling......I also had to wait for the "Easy Angle" rulers to arrive...no that was an excuse....was a bit worried about taking the plunge.....anyway its started now.....going to start saving for an Accucut now having done all these pieces.....I don't use Google we have "ask.com" on our system and it comes up on there......

Todays menu......all Lamb is now used up....so its back to our
Thursday dish.....Egg and Chips and Grilled Tomatoes....Mixed Berry Crumble and Custard for afters.....

Tonight is warmed over baked chicken with BBQ sauce, fried potatoes and mixed vegetables and a salad.

The weather today is beautiful. We are to get some remnants of MaryZ storm, however she kept all the water. We will take what we can.

Zfatcat's Quilters Guild is having their show starting tonight through Saturday. I hope to get there on Saturday. Hope I make it! It is a good show! She belongs to a really active guild.

I busied myself this morning designing a quilting design for some side triangle areas of a quilt. I am quite pleased.
