SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, St. Patrick's Eve
Good morning!
Yesterday was such a fun day! Shopping and lunch with Autumn. And our last stop of the day was the LQS by our RV park. I'm happy/ashamed to say I walked out of there with a BOX of fabric! Bags are outlawed here in Austin but we bought so much fabric they found a box in the back room for us! Autumn fell in love with a sample quilt up on the wall - Hocuspocusville - a hand embroidered Halloween quilt. So we bought the pattern and most of the fabrics (much on sale) to make it. I'm so lucky that my DH doesn't mind spending money on anything to do with sewing.
Then last night our RV park had a sock hop dance. So DH and I let our hair down a bit. We love dancing, but haven't been out on the floor in a couple of years. I'm mot even sore this morning!
As for supper tonite - I'm not sure yet. We still have 2 little spareribs left. DH was supposed to eat them for lunch yesterday but he went with peanut butter instead. We have a sweet potato to bake, and salad. If we don't get them eaten up tonite, then it's curtains for the ribs!
Bon Appetit`!

Glad you had fun dancing. DH and I have had lots of nights out dancing this year. So much fun!!! We will get to do it again, Tuesday night. Most of the dances are done now for the year. Everything is winding down. People heading back to their homes and northbound.
Looks like we will be packing and leaving on April 1 (Tues)
Supper for me tonight will be Spaghetti. Have not fixed that for a while now. I love a big salad with it and some gooooooood bread!!
I love corned beef and cabbage, but I never fix it, cause DH is not a fan. So whenever I can get a really good reuben sandwich, I love it.
Happy Day, All

Good afternoon from semi sunny but cold, Sw. Pa....Darn, this winter just won't give up!
Mary, having a day out with your DD is special but when that DD is also into quilting, that's extra special....None of my girls have been bitten by the bug, yet......As I had told Judi, if by chance you've bought too much and need to unload, just head for SW. Pa....Just a slight detour.....
I also love corned beef and cabbage but have never fixed it...Give me a good reuben and I'm satisfied...
As far as our dinner tonight, there might not be any....When we have breakfast with our friends, neither one of us is hungry so it's "eat what you want" when you want.....Sure works for me......
Happy eating...........
You gals would have loved Jim's outfit for church this morning....Light green shirt, emerald green sweater and emerald green socks....Even the priest commented.......

Re: SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, St. Patrick's Eve
Last evening I had grilled a whole chicken on the Traeger smoker/grill. It was very good, tender and juicy. Had homemade coleslaw with it. Will have a repeat of that today. Don't think DH will be eating anything. He is sick. Woke with a 102.3 temp. and diarrhea. Gave him an aspirin, colloidal silver and some stuff we have for flu. He has slept all morning.
