Does anyone have one of these ? Are you happy with it I'm in the looking process

my aunt has a Janome memory craft.. but I am not sure what the number is.... she is in love with her machine.

I have a Janome Horizon. I love it. I use it to quilt my quilts. You can't go wrong.

I know they are pretty expensive but they embrodiery and quilt both is my understanding about it

Glenda, I have the 6600 sewing only and a 300 emb. only. They cost 1/3 what the combo unit cost, AND I sometime piece while my emb. machine is working. Just an idea for you.

I have a gem pplatinum as a traveler and got a 1200 as a traveler sat year. Regret hat. Cannot get 1/4 inch even with the foot. Since I nw have Paula's Viking, which I had given to her when I upgraded, I ill use it or the gem. I truly prefer he Viking. Ig I were to but again, I would get another biking or a Bernini.

I also have the platinum as a class machine. I think the 1200 is a completely different machine. My 6600 has the built in Accufeed which is basically a built in walking foot. Does the 15000 have this? I don't know if the combo machines will have it. It is one of my favorite features.

I have not been to a dealer yet but a friend on another quilting forum just bought the 12000 she asked about the price and wow it was way more than I had guessed it to be so I may have to rethink that machine as the 12000 she got was several thousand less I really liked the lighting on the top of the 15000 machine that pulled out which I need so much with my vision problem I am so unhappy with my babylock espire I have so much trouble getting it to go over seams in my blocks when you try to lock them together it just doesn't want to feed thru just wants to stall down

I have a 6600 and just love it. Its heavy to move around but I prefer to take it to class instead of the lighter weight Baby Lock. I am not near as happy with my baby locks.

Glenda, I have a little Janome I use for travel. I think it's a 3160 QDC. Not near the machine that you are looking at, but it's a nice little machine for most quilting. But it does bog down when sewing over bulky seams if I don't get a good run at them. I tried reducing the pressure of the presser foot, but that didn't "seam" to help. My Bernina at home flies right over bulky seams and heavy fabrics.

I need better lighting, too. I'm not sure if this would be enough for you, but my DH got me a little add on light for my machine that makes a world of difference. There are also lighted magnifiers you can add on.
