Supper Club, Friday, Jan. 17th..........

No one eating?????????????We keep this up and by the time Mary gets back, we'll be sticks!

Not much happening in my neck of the woods...We're having a damp, grey, yucky day with promises of tundra temps to come our way in the next couple of days.....

I'm thinking for our dinner, real Mac n cheese and maybe a sandwich...we haven't had the real stuff for awhile so it will be a treat...Now, when I'm saying "real" that means the one in the blue box...
Years ago, Kathy, the girls and I were traveling and stopped for lunch...Jackie wanted mac n cheese but would only eat it if it came from the blue box..Would you believe, the waitress went to the kitchen and brought out the box to show her it was the "real"stuff......

So what's cooking in your kitchen, "real" stuff?????

Happy eating.........

Hello IRISH & all the rest.Sunny but cold here. Our TEmps are to drop also.Getting hi wind today.

IRISH It is easy peasy here as DH is not up to par.Wants grilled cheese & soup.I had planned on cooking but another day.I made a chocolate cake yesterday so that is available.

On the real mac n cheese my DD said her children would not eat it from scratch. That was all I ever made.My DGS liked the blue box best.

Hope everyone is staying warm & healthy.Lots of sick here...Becca

Good morning!,

My kids too, the grands as well, will only eat the blue box mac and cheese, that is unless I volunteer to make my sticky mac and cheese - I use velveeta cheese for it.

Dinner here is soup, maybe banned, or minestrone - still thinking.

Enjoy!

Good Evening All.....one early day appearance and then a two day disappearance......remember all that rain we have had.....and still getting......well.....we now have mini floods in the laundry room.....its a bit worrying because of the electrics and also my 3 freezers(full I might add)live out there.....at the moment buckets are dotted about.....so it now looks like a new roof will be needed....luckily we do have a friend who will come down to give a hand......but ONCE the rain has gone on its way.....

The Quilt has its binding finished....just have the label to do....then it can be packed up in its bag ready to be given to its new friend.....I have to say I am now pleased with it....but it was a bit of a headache at times.....I took it to the Afternoon Club for the ladies to see.....they think I"m a clever girl....but they are not sewers....and viewed it from a distance.....and I do think there is one lady who is interested enough to think about starting.....I do hope so

Ok apart from Quilts and floods....food still has to be put on the table......todays menu......Le... So.. with Butter Sauce.....Creamed potatoes and Grilled Tomatoes.....and Apple Crumble and Custard for afters.....

Today there has been no rain.....three cheers......
