Good afternoon from still snowy, still cold, SW. Pa...But, we are up to a balmy 20, so that a start in the right direction.....

Since Mary hasn't set the table, I guess that means she's off and running.....Sure gonna miss her and hope they have a great trip........
But, does this mean, if the "cats away" we can ease up on the banned "mac n cheese"?????

My dinner last night went off without a hitch so I guess I'm allowed to play with the stove, every once in awhile....And for tonight's dinner, it's left overs, chicken, stuffing, potatoes, gravy and a small dish of rice pudding..........

So what's happening in your kitchen today????

Good Evening Irish.....still wet....and....windy....but we haven't got your snow......YET...
Last night we had the most unusual rolls of thunder.....actually....Sir came charging up the stairs thinking I had fallen over.....thanks a bunch....I"m not that heavy.....can honestly say.....we have never....ever heard thunder sound like that before....all the folks at the bus stop today were talking about it...rather a mystery you might say......
Cant stay for long....my telly prog starts in an hour and want to tidy up...have a quick shower and gather up my knitting.....soooo
on the table tonight we had a Beef Casserole with Herbie Dumplings (in the slow cooker)they are worth their weight in gold.....gives me so much more time in the sewing room.....now that I have discovered so many more recipes......and things I didn't even know you could do in the SC.....oh yes....our afters.....Bread and Butter Pudding ( in my little SC).....made with Spiced Tea Cakes.....mmmm mmmmm.....bl...y lovely

Hope you aren't on your own for too long Irish.....and hope Jims hand is not too sore today

Good Afternoon All.Sunny & warmer today.So happt to see 40 & not hear heat pump running constant.

IRISH Glad the kitchen thing worked out good.Knew you still had your touch.And hope Jim is healing nicely.Was quite an ordeal.

DH still is on soft foods.He has missed his eating.LOL It doesn't bother me but he is different.Guess it is a man thing.LOL

CAROL I got a laugh out of your quote for the week.We used to have a cabin in the Mtns.It is true.Glad Sir is better.

We too had leftovers.And I made egg salad for tonite.Tomorrow he will dig in.

IRISH I do not like Dentist either.I go tomorrow to get 2 x-rayed that I am in question about.Old fillings.We are helping his cause.Cannot enter door without it costing an arm & leg.

Have a good day & stay warm.I just got all my squares cut for a baby raggy quilt,denium.Used a pair of jeans & a jumper.Contrasting color.

Well, better late than never! lol!

I made chili today...so exciting. The weather here is improving, too..made it all the way to 26 deg.! And pushing 50 by Saturday.

Gotta run...I'm missing my movie!
