SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Jan 5th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sun Jan 05, 2014 4:27 am

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is doing OK in the bad weather. We're 30* and frosty. I know it sounds balmy to some of you!

IRISH - Please forgive me while I laugh at your oven "incident". Glad no real damage was done. Wonder if Tupperware will honor their guarantee and replace your roasted containers! lol! On the upside - you found the cookies!!

We were out last night at friends' for dinner and played dominoes until midnight. That's three nights in the last week that I've been up WAAY past my bedtime! I'm starting to feel like a wet dishrag. But having a lot of fun with friends!

Supper tonite will probably bear repeating for the next several nights: I'm putting a turkey breast into the crockpot. We'll have mashed new red potatoes, gravy, salad, brussels sprouts, and rolls. (I'm still working on emptying the freezer).

Scottie says 'hi'! He will sit and "give us five" for treats and he's willing to have you all bring treats so he can show off his high fives! Lots of treats . . .

Mary, I never find anything that good in my freezer! Cranberry chicken sounds good!
Irish...I'm glad that I'm not the only one that stores stuff in the oven! But no tupperware..lol!
The Bengals are playing San Diego...good game. We went to Mama's Grill last night and took some potato soup, garden salads and a turkey and roast beef double decker to share...for tonight's dinner! The weather report was scary..but has since changed. Some rain, but the cold won't be here until late tonight...and a little snow. Sounds like we might have to pass on Dinner with the Pringles tomorrow night...dang!

Oh, I need some suggestions for a pork roast in the crockpot...any ideas on "additives" for it??????

Joanne
