SUPPER CLUB - Thurs, Dec 12

Good Morning, my fellow cookers and eaters! Another busy day here. But not so full (yes) as the last few days have been. DH will pick up the wood splitter this morning from my DB while I start making room in the woodshed. "Someone" whose shall remain nameless, but whose initials begin with Bill, tossed a bunch of junk into the area of the shed where we need to stack our wood. Then this afternoon he's giving a Q-bot class to a person he met in his Q-bot quilting forum. So maybe I will have time to start my koi wallhanging! Yay!
CAROL - I will also be out in our RV today, too, making sure it's all ready for my sis and BIL to stay in through Christmas. Your next trip coming up sounds like a nice break. And I think that machine you asked about in the Sew-in sounds like a good deal. But remember, I know nothing about it. I just know that Featherweight Singers go for about $350 to $600. A treadle machine in a nice rosewood cabinet for $295 seems do-able to me!
IRISH - You have me laughing out loud! Attacked by pizza and strangled by quilt binding! you live on the edge, girl!
BECCA - you poor thing! Wish we could all come visit and bring you some chicken soup. They say it really DOES have healing properties in it. I hope your new antibiotics do the trick. We could use another hand out in the woodshed . . . .
I'm at a loss for dinner tonite. We've been subsisting on leftovers, canned soup, grilled cheese, and poached eggs all through the week. Maybe tonite will be pesto pasta. That's so quick and easy. I've got big cooking days coming up soon, and I'd rather save my inspiration and "fascinating menus" until then. (just so you know, I couldn't keep a straight face when I typed that.)
Hope everyone is eating well. I'll shut up now and let someone else type!
