Supper club, Nov, 27, Turkey Day eve.......
Good early afternoon from snowy, cold, SW. Pa....We're all praying real hard that the forecasters are wrong and the snow that might be coming, doesn't.....
I also can't believe I'm the 1st at the table....Is everyone too busy fighting with their turkey....This year is going to be so easy for me....We're having breakfast/brunch and then going to Kevin's for dinner....I just have to bake up some goodies........
And as far as our dinner tonight, it's going to be soup and sandwich and ginger bread....I'm hoping the gingerbread will keep Jim our of the rest of the goodies that I'll be making...In this house, I don't have many places to hide things, so it does get hard....He also has a very good sniffer..............
So what's happening in your kitchen today?
Happy eating..................

Here I am! I meant to get here a few times earlier, but stuff kept happening. I had to run to drag stuff out of Scottie's teeth, had to meet my walking buddy, had to help DH with something, had to make my pumpkin cheesecake for tomorrow (thank you, Becca!), then my brother and SIL showed up so they were here for a while and then we all went to lunch. Now I'm back, DH is gone for a few hours and I have the house to myself!! I'm thinking - should I do something constructive, or should I make a cuppa, get my book, and relax and possibly nap. I have to say, the nap is winning!
As for tonite's supper - we may have leftover pizza since we went out for lunch. But it gave me such heartburn last night on its first run that I'll probably leave that to Bill have a poached egg on toast instead.
Hope everyone has time today to relax a bit! And having said that - I'm off to find my Christmas mystery, The Candy Cane Murder by Joanne Fluke, and hope my eyelids fall down for a little while. I was up for 2 hrs during the night with that heartburn. I've earned a little extra sleep!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Tonight was meatloaf slices from Market Day, Velvetta mac and cheese, green beans. There were two pieces of meatloaf left over, so that will be lunch tomorrow. Then to the son's house at 5pm for a feast.
Gosh, Mary, doesn't Rolaids or Tums help your heartburn?? Two hours is forever!
Irish, we got about an inch or so of snow...so it was pretty, but didn't cause much trouble for us...you all got more I think. UGH.

Hi Everyone,
I made a pot of chili this evening using a jar of my spaghetti sauce and adding a few things. It was very good!
Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
