SUPPER CLUB, Sun, Novmber 24th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sun Nov 24, 2013 6:01 am

I've been trying for 3 hours to post the Supper Club today. I've opened up 3 different QIAD tabs and each time, it won't post! I was able to post in the sew-in, in photos, and I rec'd and answered a PM. But for some reason Supper Club won't go. Maybe they don't like the idea of Southwestern Black Bean Soup for supper! Which is what we're having.

Let's see if this goes now.

Good morning,

Just heading out the door for Church.

Dorothy - So happy for Jim the Notre Dame won yesterday - it was a good game!

Dinner here is going to be Matt's favorite -chicken and rice with country gravy. They are coming here for dinner since most all that they own is packed.

Enjoy,
Jana

Good afternoon from bitter cold, SW. Pa....Yep, winter is upon us, big time......

Mary, normally I love to hear what you're having but, just can't seem to like this soup......Of course if someone else made it and served it to me, I'm sure that would make a difference.....

Jana, that was a good game, wasn't it? There were times when I was banned from the living room so I wasn't "allowed" to watch the whole thing.....But, I got cold just watching it, brrrrrr......Now, your dinner sounds delish....

We did go to early Mass and then onto breakfast....Now it's half time of the Steeler/Browns game and so far the Steelers are ahead....For our dinner, we still have 1/2 a pizza and knowing my talent for making soup, I bought a quart of veggie beef from where we have breakfast....It has to be the best I've ever eaten...So that's our menu, nice and easy but oh so good and I just have to heat, didn't have to cook......

Happy eating.................

Well Irish...Steelers won, big time! Bengals didn't play this weekend, but we were busy visiting all afternoon, so we didn't care.

Yesterday was our Thanksgiving..deep fried turkey and ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, sweetpotato casserole, mac & cheese, green bean casser., broccoli and cheese casser., green beans, carrots, corn, Kroger cranberry salad (yummy), cole slaw and a huge tossed salad from Mama's Grill, 5 bean baked beans, pumpkin pie, Impossible pie (coconut), apple pie, eclair pudding dessert, jello type marshmello salad, waldorf salad, deviled eggs, blueberry muffins. Whew!! We had 34 for dinner.

Today was leftovers and we had 17 here to eat! We called the neighbors in to eat along with a few family members. And there is still a bunch of leftovers! lol!
