Post by ladyevans » Wed Nov 20, 2013 1:57 am

Good Early Afternoon All......high winds and piddling rain has greeted us today.....should have stayed in bed!!!!!!!!

Missed out yesterday....had a talking book to return to the library and found there were still 2 discs to go.....so spent a lot of time finishing it and was too late to come here.....never mind.....it made me finish off the dolls clothes......such a big....big.....sigh of relief......now just have to sew them up......

Menu today will be Shepherds Pie.....or it maybe Burghers......depends on Sir....I'm not fussed either way....probably Apple Strudel and Custard for afters......

May be able to get back later.......Carol

Good Morning, Carol and all who follow -

CAROL - I love talking books. I listen to them all the time when sewing, cooking, cleaning, gardening, or traveling. I just 'almost' finished one though that I'd downloaded from Los Angeles Library (DD used to work there and gets them for me) and when it got to the final disc, it just kept repeating the previous one. I was so frustrated! I never got to hear 'who dun it'!

We're pretty tired of leftover leftover chicken soup, so tonite I think we'll be moving on to homemade pizza and salad. I'm not sure yet what will be on it, but anything goes!

Good morning from sunny but cold, Sw. Pa....

Would you believe I've never had a "talking" book....You'd think I lived in a cave, right???

Carol, your Shepard's pie sounds so good...I'm going to have to make that one of these days....And your afters, yummy.....

I think Jim and I are going out this afternoon...We have a bunch of errands and the furbabies always need food, so I'm thinking, "eat out, no cooking" for me....Sounds like a plan to me......

Happy eating...........

Good morning!

I too will be out - right around dinner time - so on my way home I will see what jumps in the car for our dinner - burgers, pizza, chinese - who knows - they are all on the way home here.

Still working on my Christmas wreaths - keep adding just one more! Silly me!

Off to get some quilting done while little one is down for his nap.

Hugs
Jana

Tonight was Mama's! We just had burgers, but it was good to get out of the house.

This Saturday is our Thanksgiving...coming up fast!

Joanne

PS...I'll join you in the cave...never had a talking book..or even one on the computer...just the old fashioned books!! And I love them.
