Got the worst possible news....

Got the worst possible news today.....the MRI shows that the tumor is back, has grown bigger than ever and there is nothing more that can be done. Prognosis: 2-4 months. If they do more chemo it will only make him sick and vomit and dry heave. Michael knows as does his brother but Lauren doesn't know yet. I am trying to hold it together - I told him I was cancelling the beer of the month club that I signed him up for Christmas - it got a chuckle and a smile. Also told him that I would make sure that what I got him for Christmas I would like! Sorry our own sick humor and it made him laugh! I can not believe I am going through this again. Jim is holding up for now. Robbyn needs to process. Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts.....

Please God, why do I have to go through this again? Why does my kids have to go through this again?? Is it really my call in life to help people die? I can't do it any more......I am tired....I am hurt.....I don't know what to do. HELP!!!

My heart goes out I you. I am so very sorry to read your sad,sad news. I can't begin to understand what you are feeling, or going through. I wish that I had the magical words to help you, but we both know that's not possible. I believe that you need to give it to your Lord, and know that it's not because of Him that this is happening. He will help you if you want Him to, but remember that we think we live on our time, when we really live on His time and no one knows what that will bring.
May God hold you and your family in His hands and comfort all of you.

Deb - I'm so sorry. I know it's very hard on those that will be left here. It's good that y'all can laugh with each other. Keep things pleasant as long as possible. God never promised that we would have a pain free life but He did promise us that He would be right with us for the rough times. We just have to lean on Him. (((hugs)))
