Good Morning!

You know, I could have sworn I posted S.C. yesterday! I think DH had a question on a quilt he was doing and I set down my computer to go into the quilting room, and from there, drifted into my sewing room and never came back out! It happens . . lol!

Well, I didn't cook yesterday anyway. I made a pumpkin pie and we took it to our friends for dinner - which was chicken cordon bleu, brussel sprouts, and coleslaw. And pie.

Tonite - I think I'll make salisbury steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, salad, and a veggie yet to be named. That will make my DH happy!

So what will make you happy tonite?

We are eating before we go to the concert. We are having turkey burgers on the grill and butternut squash. Haven't figured out how the squash is going to be cooked yet tho.

Good afternoon from cold, dreary, not nice, SW. Pa.....Good day to stay inside and snuggle under that quilt....

Well, today is a double black arm band..Besides have a good friend pass, Notre Dame lost last night....And to make it worse, they lost to Pitt, bitter rivals....I sound like a traitor living so close to Pitt and even having kids go there but......So, it's really a sad day in this household but the Steelers are winning....

And as far as eating....Cleaning out the frig early this week....I had a small dish of left over potatoes that I mixed with an egg and made into little cakes and a little bit of steak and gravy...I made an extra big apple pie yesterday so Jim is quite happy with the afters.......

Happy eating..............
