SUPPER CLUB - Sat, Nov 2nd

Happy Today!

We have a lot of wind and rain going on today. Hope that big rotten maple doesn't fall on our house today. I have other plans! I want to finish putting together my tesselating star quilt top. What a project that turned into! I'll post a couple of pix when I get it finally together.

Now on to supper - we have an impromptu invitation to our friends who just got back from 6 weeks galivanting around in their RV. Even Scottie is invited! I wonder if they remember what puppies are like . . . Anyway, we're up for dessert. I was thinking of just taking the makings for hot fudge Sundays. But perhaps, if I get my quilt top finished and feel so moved, I'll bake something. (but probably not! lol!)

and just a heads up, no cooking tomorrow either as we are going to a Chinese restaurant with a large group other friends.

It's a good weekend to be me! I'll empty the dishwasher today, sweep the floor, and that will be that for the kitchen until next Monday!

Good early afternoon from dreary, chilly, not very nice, (weather wise), SW. Pa....After our gorgeous day yesterday, this is sure a let down.......

Mary, you lucky gal! Sounds like a good weekend for you in the kitchen department....Of course around here, it could be hit or miss, lol......

Kathy and Tim have been visiting the girls and will be coming back this was later this afternoon....That could mean kitchen duty but I'm thinking it's going to be Chinese buffet duty....She still has a couple of friends she wants to meet up with and that could be at the buffet, I'm hoping....But, I think I will be baking, either apple pies or a cinnamon bundt cake...It's tough to decide! Tomorrow will be a big breakfast at our favorite handout and then off to the airport....Hey, come to think about it, I might not be in the kitchen too much either, yippee........

Good morning!

I have skated out of kitchen duty for the last two nights - so I guess I will be there sometime this week-end! Forgot that we were invited to pizza BD party for my nephew across the street - so didn't have to cook! I was good - had a salad with my pizza - healthy! LOL

DH wants to go to a train show up in SLC today and take Stu and Ethan with us - we will see - so that means I may get out of cooking tonight too!

The weather is beautiful - not a cloud in the sky - just wind and a storm that is coming tomorrow with that nasty "s" word.

Hello everyone.Sunny part cloudy day here & cooler with wind.

Well sounds like many are skipping kitchen duties.Sounds good to me.But we will be home.Country style steak & oven fries & salad for here......Becca
