SUPPER CLUB - Sept 26th
I think it's Wed, but not sure enough to put it in the topic title. This retirement thing really messes with my mental calendar.
So glad to hear I'm in the majority for once - on the l---r issue! Really, when you think about it's function in the body, a toxin filter, I would think it would take a little of the bloom off even if you DO like the taste of it. It's not thought to be the healthy choice anymore like it was when we were kids.
Now, on to tonite's supper: I don't have a clue. I have lots of food, though. Maybe we'll BBQ burgers. Today is forecast to be the one nice day in a long string of stormy days. Yes, I think burgers and frozen french fries. Perhaps a salad. My still sleeping DH always reserves the right to veto my plan though.
. . unless I read of a better plan here . . . . I do come back and see what all everyone else is having.

Good morning!
Put me on the No Liver List as well - not allowed in this house - ever!!!!
I have a ton of errands to get done today - airport, babysitting, shopping, and more - so cooking is not on the list for today - we will go and get the chicken and eat it watching the trains go by.
Well I need to leave - airplanes wait for no-one!
Enjoy

Good morning from sunny, getting warmer, SW. Pa....This is going to be a purrrfect weather day, I can tell!
Mary, by the way, it's Thursday...And I agree about retirement messing up the system, in more ways than 1.......
I'm glad I'm not the only one that undecided about dinner....After yesterday's lunch, I shouldn't even think of food....But, for that fellow that lives in this house, who isn't hard to please, we might also have burgers on the grill....
Jim had his annual exam at the VA's this morning, then we stopped at 4 stores looking for a certain piece of carpet (nothing), came home and I threw some clothes in the washer and Jim is getting ready for elderly bingo.....I probably should do some errands this afternoon but I just want to stay home.....
Happy eating..............

MARYz We had Wed but guess two in one week is ok.It is hard when you are retired. As IRISH said in many ways.LOL
JOANNE Glad you support your local merchants. We should all do more of that.Boy do we support Subway as you all know.
Sounds like everyone is in question over menu.Everyone agrees it will NOT be L---r.HA.
JANA Hope all goes well with FIL's move & transition.

Hi Everyone -
I had lab work done this morning for my physical next Thursday then to the gym for a yoga class. I have decided what is for dinner though. It will be pasta and meatsauce and a salad with garlic toast. I have the meatsauce all prepared so it will be an easy day.
Judi - Finding vegetables in season is the BEST!
Jana - No cooking sounds good, but errands do not!
Irish - It is no wonder you want to stay home after 4 fruitless stops at stores!
Maryz - BBQ sounds good. I have a calendar next to my computer to help me. It has been Thursday for more than 12 hours though.
Tina - Enjoy dinner!
Have a great day!
Carol
Becca - You too have errands? Wow did not know it was such an errand day!

Yep, it's Thursday...and if it wasn't on my computor and the big calendar that sits in front of my face, I would have no clue! lol!
It's grill again tonight...burger for me, chicken teriaki kabobs for Earl and more potatoes and California Blend on the grill, too. We still have brownies left that I made the other day for afters.
