SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Sept 22
Happy Autumn, everyone! Our weather is changing today. I think Mother Nature got the memo!
IRISH - I think now I remember from a few years ago you said you were the wedding coordinator, but somewhere along the line I guess I taught you to play the organ! lol!
We were supposed to have company today - our friends who have two shelties and who steered us down the path where we eventually found Scottie. But their 12 y/o Lucy had last minute eye surgery on Sunday so while we won't see them, we have a totally free day! I'm feeling so much better I may spend some of it puttering in my sewing room. YAY!!
Supper is going to be chicken & dumpling casserole. Cindy G gave me the recipe but I see it's almost the same as a recipe on the back of the Bisquick box. Her recipe also calls for Bisquick. A salad will be the perfect side dish!
What's tempting you today?

Good afternoon from sunny, slightly cooler but gorgeous, SW. Pa....
Mary, your dinner sounds delish, how about posting the recipe...I have yet to make a decent chicken/dumpling casserole..I'm very lucky, Jim will eat almost anything and everything I put in front of him...Of course there are certain (Chinese) foods, he'll just say, "That's really not one of my favorites"......
Becca, you're probably having pretty much the same weather we are and isn't it gorgeous...Our trees and bushes are starting to turn and I have a feeling, this is going to be a spectacular "leaf peeper" season.....
Well, as far as our dinner, probably won't have one, lol...this is the day we go to Kevin's and his dear, dear wife will have lots of goodies....We play cards and watch the Pirates, hopefully win another today.....
Happy eating.............

Good Morning Everyone,
Maryz - Yes, please post the recipe. It sounds very good!
Irish - Sounds like a pleasant day and for you, no cooking!
Becca - You and your DH sound like you have special diets, yours sounds much healthier!
For us, it will be baked chicken, the butcher already cut in pieces. I will rub with mixture of paprika, onion salt, garlic salt, and pepper. Also a salad, baked potatoes and vegetable. Think I will skip dessert. This morning we ate the two danish that we brought home from Solvang, just wonderful!
Have a great day!
Carol
