Favorite Recipes
With all the great recipes everyone is sharing, I thought it'd be convenient to have them all in once place to find easily.

Re: Favorite Recipes
Ok. This is one of my best
Best Pot Pie
Ingredients:
1 cup glazed huckleberries
3 shots gin or moonshine
1 possum
---if roadkill: make jambalaya
---if caught: proceed with recipe
1 pie crust
sliced carrots & cabbage to taste
Directions:
Cover a pan (or any implement you can put in a fire) with the bottom of your pie crust, and place the possum in it. Add the huckleberries and carrots, and shred the cabbage over it. Close up the pie and bake until the neighbors' dogs come sniffing around to see what the wonderful smell is, or until the fire department arrives (whichever comes first). Remove pie from fire/oven, slice, and enjoy.

IowaGal, that roadkill possum recipe will be just the perfect thing to serve at the house warming for the Redneck-Hillbilly Mansion! LOL!
Ya'll know how tech-challenged I am, so could someone copy-n-paste some of the recipes to here? Like Busyhands Friendship Bread, gmaan's peach cobbler, there's two cobbler recipes on the same thread. With the holidays coming up it'll be easy to locate all these recipes. I know a lot of good ones were posted before last Thanksgiving and I'd like to use them again this year. gmaan posted a delish cranberry orange bread one and Lodad an Emerald Salad.
mcmema, I'd like a good pot pie recipe, too. With fall right around the corner, well, that's cookin season and comfort food.
