QIAD-Linda, wow, that is REALLY exciting! I'll have to plan in advance because I cannot fly (broken wing! LOL) or do cruises, so I'll have to be coming by covered wagon across the prairie, I guess. But...I am sooooo there!!!

carpooling sounds great. But, for the safety of the general public, ya'll don't want me to take a turn at driving. Trust me on this one! I'll just sit working on my Grandmother's Flower Garden rosettes as a passenger...because I'm also a back-seat driver and sewing will keep me occupied and off the driver's back!!!

GP maybe Maryq and I couldget down to Iowa and meet ya at CindyB's and go from there--not a problem about keeping you in the back seat cuz good backseat drivers are hard to come by!!LOL What do ya' say, Maryq???

gooseegg, sounds like a plan. Will you bring a Peach Cream Tart and Watermelon salad? Being subdued in the backseat I could serve up for everyone and stitch on my GFG at the same time. All I have to do now is convince my DH that I will not be at work for an extended vacation, and put a heavy-duty padlock on my quilting room door. Sure wouldn't want to return and find that my kids had cleaned it out and put it on e-bay in my absence!

If I make up a batch of Grape Salad and a batch of mini cheesecakes, will you swing by and pick me up, too?

I do not fly nor cruise. I like to be in the position that if plans change and I want or need to go another direction, I can. I can't walk on water nor air. LOL I do love to travel by hwy though but sad to admit that I do not read road maps worth a flying flip.
