A short update on how my sister is doing. She has had a good part of the tumor removed. Will need chemo and radiation follow up. Unfortunately the biopsey came back with a very aggressive type of cancer. Very strong chance it will continue to come back and eventually be terminal. We do not know how long this will all take. In addition to this, the guinea pig is quite sick again and my young niece (36) has precancerous cells on her breast biopsey. She will have a lumpectomy in the near future. Thank you for your continued care.

A young son of a family from our church has generation X factor. Today he had a mri and it wasn't the best of news. He has brain atrophy. It is shrinking and filling up with fluids and the outer walls are getting thick. It is not normally seen in a child, more likely seen in older folks with dementia or worse. There is no treatment, no meds, nothing to be done. Would appreciate prayers for this family, he is the only son and only 5 or 6 at most.

Prayers for Valerie and your situation and several of the other ones I read this evening too.

Wow, that must be a nightmare for the parents. Prayers certainly go their way. I can't imagine what they must be going through.

I am currently at my sister's. Been here a week. Going home tomorrow. She is getting radiation every day and on oral chemo. MD is looking for a clinical trial she can qualify for. Her chance of survival is only 4% with just traditional treatment. She has what is called a glioblastoma multiform. I think that is correct spelling
