Oh, Irish, I'm so sorry to read this! It sounds like your son has been through, and endured a lot and there's a reason the Lord has brought him through it all. I'll be saying prayers for him to get through this one, too. And a special prayer for him mom. I know it's worse watching your kids go through things like this than going through it ourselves. God bless your family.

Prayers for everyone here. Have not been able to come here much, vision is very bad. Finally after a year of begging, I have finally started radiation for the tumor on my left eye. Pight eye has really bad cataract. Haven't been able to drive since Dec. Stll, God is good and my overall health is good. Today was treatment #5 of 40. I go Mon thru Fri. Treatment takes about 20 mins a day. So far no side effects but they say it is cumulative and may not have any until later. Trusting God to protect the good tissue and destroy the bad. I can see well enough to still move around, just have to move more cautiously. Depth perception is bad so have to be cautious of curbs. Unable to quilt at present but praying after treatments, that cataract can be removed and I will be able to then. Prayers still appreciated.
Thanks, Ruth

Ruth, First, many hugs and prayers coming your way. PLease don't ever stop praying or believing that God is with you every step of the way. I wish I could be there to sit with you and chat awhile. It could reassure you that, with the help of God, you will get thru all this.

My DH was legally blind in 1988 for 8 months. Numerous surgeries and lasers by various drs were attempted. But we were told to just accept the fact that he was blind and go on with life. Then one morning, he could see out of one eye. To this day, the eye drs have not been able to explain a reason for his eyesight returning. They thought it would go away again overnight. But it hasn't.

Each time he got checked for glasses his eyesight was improving, not going away. The drs told him it was a "MIRACLE" since there was no medical reason for it. Praying for a MIRACLE for you today too.

I also have a cousin who was legally blind for 20 yrs and had had seeing eye dogs for most of those 20 yrs. A few yrs ago someone noticed cataracts on her eyes. She laughed when they said they wanted to remove them but agreed, thinking it could not possibly help. She had pin point vision, a genetic problem she had inherited. After surgery, she can see and very well too. Corrected back to 20/20 and 20/40. She is driving again, the seeing eye dog was retired and remains a family pet, and she is living life to the hilt.

Just a few of the miracles in my own personal life. With our prayers, may God surround you with angels of hope and support in every area of your life. May you feel our own strength and draw on it, along with your faith in God. God is always with you and we will be here for you anytime you need to chat, or just ask for more prayers.

Sending many many hugs of hope and prayers for a miracle for you too.
May God bless you today and always. in Christian Love, Shirley Mae
