Please say a prayer for my hubby, Rod. He went to the drs to meet his new primary care dr today. Should have been routine, get to know you type visit. Anything but that.

He hasn't been feeling well off and on for a few days. Gets moments of extreme weakness on left side and other subtle things. It reminded me of problems from my stroke 3 yrs ago but never told him that. He has been into VA for so much lately, thought they would have caught it by now.

He just called me and said he is downstairs waiting to see about some tests to check for s possible stroke. I am so sorry I did not go with him. It sounds like a TIA to the dr. Rod just thought it was from his back since that bothers his left leg sometimes.

Gotta scoot. Company coming for supper too for St Pats day but it is in the crockpot. just our granddaughters who only live about 3 miles from us. I stayed home to pick up the house and clean the bathroom, etc before they get here. Thank you for your prayers. I know you are always there for us.

May God bless you all today too and provide for your needs as well. You are all in my prayers too. Love and hugs (and tears) Shirley Mae

I'm asking for prayers for one of my sons, our 2nd son...He was taken to a local hospital this morning for what he thought was to get a pace maker but they found he has an infection around the valve they had replaced a few years ago...He is being transferred to a major hospital in Pittsburgh and will be having open heart surgery ASAP...He's only 56, had been diagnosed with Hodgkins when he was 17 and suffered through 127 radiation treatments but he survived....A few years ago, he had a heart attack and a valve replacement...And now to go through it all again....I'm trying not to ask, Why??? but it's so hard not too...But, we do have strong faith and with God's blessings, I'm sure he'll come through this tough time....
So, if you have any spare prayers, he can sure use them......

Irish, Prayers immediately for your dear son. May God surround him with many angels to protect him, watch over him, and guide the hands of the drs as they go thru this procedure.

Prayers for you too. It is so hard to sit in a waiting room, or at home, not knowing what is happening to your loved one. May you, too, and all the family, feel the support of angels giving you some comfort and peace and hope and strength as you wait. Put your faith in God, and remember we are all praying for your son too.

Sending many hugs, love, and more prayers across the miles, May God bless your son and all your family today and always. Shirley Mae
