NEVER FAIL PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE
1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow creme
1 c. smooth or chunky peanut butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Put Marshmallow creme and peanut butter in mixing bowl and mix together. Set aside. Cook sugar and evaporated milk, stirring constantly, to softball stage. (234-240 degrees F.)
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Pour into creamed mixture and beat till creamy. Pour into an 8x8" pan that has been sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
Nuts can be added if you like. Recipe can be doubled for a 9 x 13" pan.

I lurk on a lot of forums so I cannot remember which one I found this on & I wish I knew so I could give the person full credit for it as it is sooo good. And I may have gotten it in an email too. I get quite a few that way. I made this yesterday & we really loved it.

Monkey Bread or Pull Apart Bread:

24 frozen dinner rolls thawed enough so you can cut them in half
Put these in a greased Bundt pan or a greased 9X13 pan. I did Bundt.

Mix 1 Cup of white sugar
1 cup of brown sugar
1 tsp of Cinnamon
1 Cup of your fav. Vanilla Ice Cream melted in microwave
1 stick of butter melted
Stir this altogether

Pour this on top of the bread dough in your pan & let it sit to rise. About 8 hrs. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Should sound hollow when middle of pan is tapped. Brush tops with butter and invert onto a platter or a cookie sheet lined with wax paper if you used a 9X13 pan. YUMMMMMM *hint* if it starts getting too dark on top cover with foil to finish your cooking time.

Thanks Cathy, I'm going to give the Monkey Bread a try. I wonder if Butter Pecan or Praline ice cream would taste good?????

Morgans4......I make those grape/chile sauce meatballs ALL the time and is our New Years Day layout. Everyone loves them and of course they are finger food and very good with deviled eggs and a cheese platter. YUM!

Better get to the grocery store...................
Have Fun,

Ohhhhh Linda! I think Butter Pecan or Praline Ice Cream would be very yummy! I did 36 rolls last night and it was way too much for the Bundt pan. It rose over the pan in the oven & some fell out. Then in the middle many were not done. Soooo I dumped the ones that were still not done into a 9X13 pan and baked them a bit longer & they were fine. So I think 24 rolls would be best. LOL The original recipe did not say how many to use.

ok I'm having a brain fart today... on the monkey bread you don't put the ice cream in with the ingredients do you? Sorry it has been one of those days. Jan

Yep, you melt the ice cream and mix in with the melted butter & the dry ingred. and pour it over the bread dough. Let the dough rise then bake. This makes it sweet, gooey and very good.

Hi. I have a monkey bread recipe that is a little different from the usual... it's really good, too. I'm sure that if you'd prefer, you could use the frozen (thawed) bread dough instead of the biscuits. The biscuits don't take as long. I like this with strawberry preservse, but any kind would be good.

Crazy Monkey Bread
4 - 10 count cans biscuits (40 biscuits total)
2 tsp cinnamon
3/4 c butter
1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 Nuts, chopped
1 c Fruit filling or preserves, any flavor

1. Cut each biscuit into 4 equal pieces.
2. Combine 3/4 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon in a bowl. Roll biscuit pieces in this mixture and place 1/2 of them in a greased bundt pan.
3. Melt the butter and add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 3/4 cup sugar, stirring well to blend. Pour half of this over the biscuit pieces in the pan.
4. Dollop half of filling/preserves over first layer of biscuits.
5. Repeat layer of biscuits, butter, and fruit.
Bake at 350F for 35 minutes.

Here is another good appetizer or finger food. We have had it as the main dish! lol. It has an original name, too.

Lil smokies in bbq sauce

1 or 2 pkgs. lil smokies
1 bottle your favorite bbq sauce

That's it.
Just mix all the lil smokies around in the sauce and dump them in the crock pot. They are already cooked, so it's just a matter of getting them good and hot and gooey.
