Dear Sharon, I admire you so much for taking in the two children and providing a loving home for them. I will keep all of you in my prayers. I am hopeful that the court will grant you permanent custody and provide support for the children. Just remember, it isn't the "things" that you give the kids that will be long lasting in their memories, it is the love you give them. God bless you for your loving and open heart.

Prayers please for my next door neighbor, virginia. She is 82 and they just went off to the hospital in an ambulance. Her husband is 85 and can't drive and uses a cane to get around. She called me and I went running over there. Then I stayed with Ken til the other neighbor came back with her car to go to hospital. They are so special to us and so many others. They have no family here, no children at all, just nieces and nephews and a sister in Ill.

I am praying so hard for my dear friends. Thank you for your prayers too. God does supply all our needs and answers our prayers according to His plan for our lives.

Prayers for all on here who need them and I guess that is every one of us. May God bless you all today and always. Hugs and love thru tears, Shirley Mae

ShirleyMae, prayers for Virginia and Ken.. hope all goes well for them.

Sharon... you are excelling at raising your grands because God is giving you strength.. there are many emotions going through this process, but when it's finally over and those kids are yours things will settle...those kids will know they are loved and cared about by you because you stepped up and chose to keep them when no one else did... it's hard now but hard doesn't last forever...xo

UPDATE ON NEIGHBORS.....Hi, thanks for prayers for Virginia. I talked to her on phone last night. She is back home. They checked her quickly when ambulance brought her in, did an EKG and cat scan to rule out heart attack or stroke. Then they put her in a wheelchair and made her wait for 2 hrs to get a bed and see a diff dr.

They were in ER over 5 hrs. She said she had 3 blankets on and still freezing. Her hubby and friend both had to ask for blankets too. She is ok. Tests all came back ok. Her mom died of a brain tumor so any bad headaches really scare her. The dr told her to call her reg dr today. They think she might have allergies or a bad sinus infection. The ER must have been really busy. She sounded tired but glad to be home again. She ask me to thank everyone that was praying for her.

May God bless everyone today and provide for your needs. God does indeed hear our prayers and answers them according to HIS plan for our lives. Praying for miracles for your own lives today.

Sending love and hugs and more prayers across the miles. Shirley Mae

ps Caroline and Sharon, I sent you pms. Always in my prayers. Hope things are going better for you today.

Please keep my parents in your prayers. My Dad will be going into the hospital today for perhaps the last time. Please pray they can ease his pain and make him comfortable.

Dear Lee, my heart goes out to you for your dad. I will definitely keep him and you in my prayers. When my dad passed in 2009 I thanked God that I was able to be by his side and with him at the last. It took me a long time to get over my loss but now I think of him with the Lord and planting flowers all over heaven.

God bless you and give you comfort.

I just talked to my mom and she had just gotten off the phone with my dad. He says he's feeling much better and is eating a bit. The doctor thinks he might be able to leave in a few days but wants him to go into a nursing home. They don't want that, they want him to go home, so please keep praying he can do that.

Thank you for your prayers! When this is over my dad will be planting trees all over heaven.

Lee, Prayers today for your Dad and your mom and you too. May God bring you all peace and him comfort in these last days. May they be surrounded with many angels of support to offer hugs, encouragement, strength and hope. Prayers that they will feel the warmth, like a quilt wrapped around them, of all the love and hugs and prayers and support from all of us.

So many of us have been there with our own parents and loved ones. We know the pain of dealing with all of this but just handle it with love and a feeling of peace and hope. May your faith be strong, may your hearts be full of memories, and may you all share your love and caring in the midst of this.

May God bless you and your family today and always. Hugs, love and tears from across the miles. Shirley Mae
