Sometimes you hear people say, " That's too pretty to eat," but it's never me. I always want to eat cake no matter how pretty it is. I bet it was delicious as well.

Oh Chickie, your decorating is exquisite! All the tiny details make everything so beautiful. I know, I can only do a bit of what you did here. Love the roses!

Good afternoon from warm but cloudy, SW. Pa....Mother Nature still hasn't made up her mind whether to give us rain or just look like it.....Early this morning we had about 10 drops on the front porch and that was it.......Not even enough to take care of the bird dodo on the banister.....

Mary, another day to do what you want, welcome to my world, lol.....Every morning, before BabyGirl and I get out of bed, I ask her what we're going to do and she doesn't come up with an answer so, most days, we don't do anything.....My biggest accomplishment today was getting Comcast on the phone about an extra entertainment charge....What is funny, the charge was for a Fight! So, the fellow blamed it on the cat and took off the charge...He did tell me about a fellow who kept having extra charges and discovered it was the cat, kneading the remote so he had to use a pin # in the remote (and not let the cat know what it was), lol....
My sister does love her $ and Thrift stores (and we do have fun).....This weekend, I think I'm going with her family to their camp, so there will be lots of "bargain hunting" and, she said, fishing! The only time I've ever held a pole was when we went deep sea fishing and I was sick from the time the boat went out and 2 days after the boat came back in.....I am not a fisher person!
Kathy had sent me pictures of Ft. Bragg, Cal and it was gorgeous...They went bike riding, visited the light house and was headed for the train that Jana talked about......

Jana, Kathy sent me picture of the train and said, they loved it....Between you and Mary, I should have you both write me a tour guide....I don't know how any one could ever see all the sights out that way.....I just saw a cartoon where the husband was so excited about going to Costco and the wife said, they brought back the samples.....

Chickie, the cake and cookies were amazing.....You really, really are talented...But, baking and decorating is just one of the many things you do.....If I do something like that, you know it's home made....

Becca, when you want to have a pretty yard, you really do have to keep after it...Lots and lots of hard work...The other house was really getting to be too much and now, this is perfect.....I think in another week or so, I might even have a ripe tomato......My big garden consist of 2 big kitty litter buckets that I painted and planted...Easiest garden I ever had to take care of, lol.......

Changed the bed and did some minor uglies and that's it for the day....Not sure what I might find for dinner....I do have some left over chicken and could make chicken ala king or maybe just that bowl of cereal........

You all have a great rest of the day.....

Happy eating....................

Chickie - Outstanding work on the cookies and cake! The professionals could take lessons from you! All look much too good to eat, but I am like Lori, I would eat them.

My morning started with turning the oven on to "Clean". It is just finishing now, so we will have a nice clean oven. Tuesday is my day to give the kitchen a good cleaning and I knew the oven needed cleaning today. It is in the low 70s here so better do it before it gets hot.

Dinner tonight will be grilled chicken. Enjoy your day!

Good afternoon/evening everyone. I'm home. It took a while to get to the house. Road work was at a point where streets to my house were closed to everyone for at least an hour. I turned around and stopped by a friend's house to wait.

Chickie - You would think from the number of people out shopping that there was no pandemic/health concerns going on. Half the people shopping don't even wear masks...
I am happy to be in outside garden watering every day for my whole shift. I do have to stop to help customers if there is no other garden associate in sight, or if lines back up and they need me to cashier to get lines down. You did a fabulous job on your cake and cookies. Thanks for sharing.

Mary - Usually by the time I get home from work I don't want to do anything except to get off my feet and relax my body so I can sleep.

Those BLTA's sound good. I think it should be on the agenda for me later in the week. As for tonight it will be egg salad sandwiches. The other thing on the agenda to pick up from the store is the makings for stuffed bell peppers for later in the week.
