Carole--I'll do the Tuesday weigh in with you. Sounds good to me. DH needs to go back on low carb, and I'll start again on Tuesday as well. He does good as long as there is nothing around to tempt him. He has an enormous sweet tooth. Mine is a small one, but I do love bread.

Hello, my name is Miriam and I am a foodaholic.

Carole count me in....but not till I get home as i don't have a scale in the rv,,,I use an app on my phone to track calories and activity..it helps keep me on a 1200 cal diet...that is what my Dr recommended. it also helps to monitor carbs, protien, and fats to keep balance....I consider my self a professional dieter,,,been doing it all my life. Good luck to all xxxooo

Judi, a 1200 calorie diet???? Bow I think the normal diet is 1500. You go girl. You know I never use to care what I ate or even if I did eat when I was younger. Now everything we do revolves around food. We have got to stop going out to eat. BUT my traveling girlfriend has decided that she hates to cook anymore. Lol so we go out with them ALOT. But I think that with this Paleo diet..I could find something on the menu and still follow this. We will see. Have to take the time to read more about this diet. But Tina is doing so well. Whoo Hoo Tina. You are a great example for all of us.

Just join in when you get back Judi.

Oh I know it says use only grass fed cows and stuff, I can't afford that so I just buy the leanest meats I can get which I have always bought meat that way. We are on a pretty tight budget so I work with what I can afford and what's available here.....which isn't much LOL I have Walmart and a local grocer to shop at and that's it.

Hello Ladies,Enjoyed reading all your comments.I have watched my weight for years.I try to eat healthy but indulge some.I need to lose 10 or 15.Ten would be great ..I walk 3 miles a day.Used to do 5 but cut down to 3.

We weight in on Tues.I weigh every morning first thing.Have found if I weigh regular it makes me stay in check.

I am on a very low dose for BPressure. But my stress level is high as I take care of DH.Sure it makes my stress hi.

Will check in on Tues.

TINA My hat is off to you for your WLoss.I wish everyone loads of success.....Becca

Tina, when I get home I will go to the library and get books on this diet. I am slowly reading everything I can find on the internet. Is it correct that you can not eat corn? Darn, one of my favorites. Well tomorrow is the day that I will start what I know about this diet. You are my inspiration.

Tomorrow is the day for weigh ins...all day long. You can give the lbs you are up or down, or just say up or down. I will be weighing in the AM , I have TOPS tomorrow morning so mine will be pretty accurate. My scale is 2.6 lbs different from TOPS scale. Of course, mine is weighing heavier. Lol. You know, I was just thinking... If you do not weigh yourself like I do EVERYDAY, lol tomorrow you could just say beginning weight and then next week you could start with up or down. Whatever you want to do. We are here to help YOU because we wNt what is best for all of us.

Later gater

Carole, sadly it says no corn but I do have 1 ear of corn on the cob about 3 times a month while it's fresh in season :-) They say cavemen didn't eat corn because it was brought here from somewhere else.....well THOSE cavemen ate it I bet LOL that's my story and I'm stickin to it hehehe :-)
I got 1 book off of eBay and the other was a gift from my cousin in law :-) she also copied the chips recipe for salsa I posted in the Supper Club for Chickie the other day :-) I still haven't made those yet but my flourless pizza turned out awesome!
