Thanks for the support...I sewed on the kitchen table for years before I had a sewing room,so that will be fine, but no room for much storage.I don't really have any stash left,I just get what I need for a project now.But I sure will miss my little home here, especially outr back yard and front deck my son built on last summer.I will adjust,,,things could be so much worse.

You and your DH will have an adjustment, but it will be good for your health and you can meet new friends. I will keep you both in my prayers. Luckily your family and Grandbabies will be close.

Yes readjustments which most of us have to adapt one day or other. For the sewing don't give it up, you know how much it means to you. Find a corner no matter how tight, to hide away.

My 1st sewing studio, if you call it studio, was in my closet. Yes my clothes closet. Sewing desk, radio in background, things hung on wall with nails. Had made myself a fabric sheet with pockets that I hung on door like a saddle for tools. My real close hung on the bath bar!

Made a little money for more equipment. My window curtains, quilt fabrics in the waiting. Do you know I had so many compliments for my room décor...

That's nothing a long arm quilter was left alone divorced broke went to live in an industrial bldg. no kitchen tables, no chairs, her bathroom was bigger than her bedroom. She did long arm. Tiny Tiny TV sat corner of her ceiling.

But we were both very happy just because surrounded by the things we love. Your husband had a stroke, that's hard to live with...My neighbor had 2 heart attacks, by pass surgery, and stroke, he's my neighbor, sorry can't stand him, to imagine living with a stroke patient what a challenge.

Just trying to cheer you up...

Caroline, I know it is not easy. On the good side, you will see Natalie and Nathan more often. I am sending prayers and good vibes towards you and your DH!

Love & hugs

Denise
