Re: Cravings
this is a good topic! With my first I craved everything but especially hot dogs. I hate hot dogs but I ate them every chance I could. Of course I ate more during my first pregnancy than my second. I remember my august check I had gained like 12lbs!! I think I gained 50lbs with my first. Thanks goodness I lost it all too.
With my second I don't remember craving anything special.
Guess my first made up for it.

Re: Cravings
Popsicles and peanut butter with my first one. I would get a jar of PB and a big ol' spoon and just go to town! Ate popsicle by the dozens.
Can't really think of anything specific with the other two, except for "salty". Gotta have my salt.
With the last one, garlic made me so sick. Just the thought or smell of it was enough to send me running.
No "morning sickness" with the first one...I got nosebleeds instead. Every day, just like clockwork. Never had them before and never had them since. Didn't happen with the other two.

Re: Cravings
With all three of my pregnancies I wanted strawberries. For the first one it was too early, the second and third it was too late. I also wanted heavenly hash ice cream and corn chips.
I got sick on spaghetti with my first and couldn't even stand the smell of sauce with the other two.

I craved donuts,,,,,any kind of donuts,, with my first....cried at 3 am cause ken said nothing was opened to get me donuts. So I got out a can of pillsbury biscuits and deep fried them and covered them with powdered sugar icing,,,they were 5 cans for a dollar back then and I ate donuts till I was sick from them. Don't even eat many donuts to this day.

Re: Cravings
With my first one... I stood at the kitchen sink and ate a whole small bag of radishes! Which could be why I had incredible heart burn all 9 months!
The 2nd one... it was tomato soup... and not Campbells, I had to make it from scratch. White sauce with stewed tomatoes.
The 3rd one was Campbells Chicken Noodle!
With the last one, I couldn't tolerate coffee or cola, but I swear 5 minutes after delivery I wanted a HUGE cup off coffee
When my Mom was pregnant with one of my brothers, she ate a whole flat of raspberries. TRUE story, Tim was born with a raspberry shaped birth mark on his arm... It eventually faded away, but I remember it clear as a bell, since I am 5 years old that he is!
Funny the things we crave!
