Yesterday was chilly but today will be much warmer - 67*, I think. We might get in a walk in the stroller. Depends on breeze and when naptime happens.

LORI - poor Jack! No walking makes Jack an unhappy boy. We've been watching the CA weather, wondering how you and everyone else is doing. We have good friends who are in a condo in Morro Bay in winter. We need to text them to see if they have floated away. We'll be traveling I-5 in a couple weeks. I hope it's all cleared up by then. But at least you are getting a good snowpack in your mountains.
BECCA - I hate returning things so I'd be bummed if the store sent me the wrong size. You are patient. Glad you got in some swimming with a friend. I imagine the dishes at your place are different from day to day because of the folks doing the cooking and the ingredients available that week. Seems the quality of your meals varies widely from day to day.
CAROL - OK, with your description, I'm getting a sense of your table runner. Is it finished now? And it's for you? We once were given a quilt by a customer. Her MIL had started handquilting it and then passed away when it was half finished. It took a little doing but we were finally able to match the LA stitching to the hand stitching and finish off the quilt. No one could tell the difference. And yes, we're babysitting Mon-Fri this week and will get together for pizza lunch with the A-Team on Saturday and say our good-byes. I hate goodbyes. The last goodbye didn't stick, which is why ended up back here from FL. But this time it will, though they did try to sell us on March in Texas being their best month..... lol!
MARY Q - yay!! You're back!! I hope you find some good supper ideas here. That's the purpose of Supper Club, you know. They say diets are much more sucessfull if you allow yourself a few things - like your tater tots - now and then. But remember our rule(s) - and shellf--- counts! It's actually worse than just regular F---! Would peas be easier for you to tolerate if you thought of them as beans? Because they are a legume really.
TINA - just keep resting. You can do things while resting - like go through your recipes looking for EASY things for supper! I don't like canned soups either. Except I'll use tomato soup as a base for tomato basil and creamed soups in cooking. But I go for the low sodium varieties. Hope your dad is doing OK.
Chickie's dr visit yesterday was discouraging. Five months of waiting for an appointment with the very specialized specialist and all she got was he can't tell her the cause of her constant vertigo, there is no cure, and she just has to learn to live with it - like she's been doing for the past 3-1/2 years. She does a 1 hr yoga routine every morning and she thinks that might be the only thing helping her. She does still sew. The great grands keep coming in her family. I think 8 in the last 4 years. So she makes a lot of baby quilts and small items for the ladies in her family at Christmas. Sewing is difficult but is her therapy.
This morning I'm going to put two chicken breasts into Yoshiba's marinade. We'll pop them onto the grill tonite. We'll have broccoli and salad for sides. We always split one breast and the second one will go into something for tomorrow. Maybe a small pot of chicken rice (or noodle) soup since we've been talking soups.
What's your supper plan?
