Yesterday I made 2 pies, sweet potatoes, and chopped onions and celery for dressing. We can assemble that at Autumn's house later this morning. I have a turkey breast in the crockpot and all the other dinner fixin's are already packed for transport. We will be eatin' good today!
Also yesterday we got the laundry done, and 32 pom poms glued to mug rugs (I think I posted photos last Dec) and in the evening, I finished Amara's stocking!! Whoopee! I wrote the date I started it on the pattern - Feb 1st, 2023. I have it washed and ironed and might just have time to sew it all together this morning before we leave for their house about 9:30am. If not, I'll do it tomorrow. She won't need it for a few more weeks.

LORI - talk about busy days! Yours always seem jam-packed. But with dogs to walk, they can kind of smooth your roll and activate your zen. Dogs are some of my favorite people! I hope all went well with the social worker and your db.
BECCA - what kind of cake did you bake? Isn't caramel cake your specialty? You will be off to Alex's today, I think. Enjoy the love!
So we're going traditional dinner here: turkey, dressing, mached potatoes, gravy, dressing, corn, green beans, rolls, cranberries, pickles, 3 kinds of olives, and pumpkin and pecan pies with whipped cream. Since the kids are vegetarians, they have their own entree and I'm using veggie broth to make the dressing. The turkey breast is for BIll and me.
Will you be eating turkey today or are you "going rogue"?
