Supper Club. Friday, Nov 10

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri Nov 10, 2023 4:43 am

Good morning,

Loving it here among the tall saguaro. We have two beauties in our campsite. Both between 15 and 20 feet tall. We’ve stayed here many times and we always hate to leave but we still have another thousand miles to go.

Tina, in my own little branch of our family, we have 11 people and and everyone gets their own month except Bill and Alec to share July. We have August and December birthday- free.

Becca, are the plants you re potted house plants or porch plants you are going to try to winter over. How is Taylor doing?

I am trying to think about supper tonight. I have some frozen pasties in the freezer so we might just put those in the toaster oven and open a can of green beans. Easy cooking on a travel day.

Whats on your menu?

Good morning all 🌞
Mary, those cactus are so cool, I love seeing them when we go east! Holly made me a little wooden thing with all the months on it and these little circle things that hang from each month with the persons name and their birthday date on it and all my months have at least 1, some have 4 but some have passed away 💔 but I still say happy Birthday to them.
I'm getting my haircut this morning and going to the grocery store for some items that I need that are on sale.
Easton has a playoff game tonight so if the weather allows then we'll be there and we have a free pizza coming from Pizza Hut so that'll be supper.

Becca, I'm so sorry you were exposed, I hope you don't get it 🫂

I got my hair cut, I had her cut 4" off, it had gotten pretty long and it didn't want to do anything. But truth be told I've been lazy and just wearing it up, now I'll have to be better.
Easton's team lost tonight, it was freezing cold out there, we were wrapped up and huddled together under coats and blankets....I kept saying the players had to be freezing. Easton wanted to come home with us and it was late so we just grabbed fast food instead of our free pizza, fast food make me feel 🤢

Becca, so sorry you were exposed. Hoping you won't get it.

Tina, bummer about the game. I agree, fast food makes me feel crappy.

Mary, the desert is a beautiful place.

Finished up a book today. Not much else. Dinner was baked potatoes with chili.

Sleep well.
