SUPPER CLUB - Monday, Oct 23

Post by purrfect-lady » Mon Oct 23, 2023 5:26 am

Good morning,

It might be a wet and windy day here. Or it might not. Depends on which weather forecast you look at. Guess I'll just go about my business and see what happens. We did hear about a foot of snow will fall tonite in our mountain passes, so this is really helping us make up our mind which route to take when we leave for Texas!

I have to take the fur-kids to their dr appts at 10:30. No one will be happy about that! Their father will be staying home because the new furnace is being installed this morning. All of this will be eating up the morning. In the afternoon, I plan to get trailer bed made and clean up a few things out there and then do some uglies inside the house. Such a fun day! Tomorrow will be no better - we go to our own dr appts tomorrow.

TINA - My goodness! Frankie has a lot of siblings! I thought I came from a big family! I bet it was a joyful weekend for them all! I love being with my sibs.

CAROL - your soup does sound delicious. But you could put parmesan on a rock and I would find it tasty! Yum! You've been busy. Sometimes you just gotta take a day and finish up all the little loose ends of chores around the house. I think today - and maybe every day this week - will be like that here. It takes a lot to get trailer, house, property, and ourselves ready to be gone for 3 months.

Last night we had pesto fettuccini with chicken and peas added for a one dish meal. I think we have enough leftover for tonite, too. If not, I can add a bit to it - more pasta? black beans? mushrooms? Bill loves whatever I add. He's pretty easy to please - at least he is untill I bring broccoli into the picture.

What's your supper picture going to look like tonite?

Hi all 😊
I was here this morning and thought I posted, guess not huh 😅
Mary, Frankie is the 10th of 11... there were 7 girls and 4 boys, now it's 5 girls and 4 boys.
Becca, you sure keep active, let's you keep up with all those little ones ❤️
I played on my embroidery machine, tried a candy came holder that's done in the hoop, it is time consuming and I get to shaking after a bit cutting so close, I get nervous I guess. But I love how it turned out! I'm gonna make 1 for each of the grands for Christmas too. I'm trying to find little things besides the quilts to make them. I'm going to make them some gift card holder/ornament too and if they still do McDonald's gift books for just a little cha ching then they'd all love that..... they all love McDonald's..... gag me LOL
We had chicken fajitas and avocado.
