Yesterday turned into a busy, busy day! I finished my Catholes quilt and got backing pieced and binding made. Bill is going to look for a cat quilting pattern to download and he will quilt it for me. As long as it's done and ready to go with us in Nov. It's for my sister's birthday. Then I went out to check the blackberries and found lots were ripe so I went back for my berry buckets. By the end of business yesterday I had two batches of jam on my counter and was on my hands and knees mopping sticky spills off my kitchen floor. Today - I'm getting my 3 charity tops ready for the LA.
BECCA - glad you got your business taken care of. I hate having things like that hanging over my head. I don't sew really fast, but I just spend a lot of my time sewing. I don't have much family around to do things with, so I spend my time in my sewing room. Even when we're in TX with Aut, we only see the once a week for a couple hours, so I sew there, too. I hope you can get your BP under control.
TINA - that had to have been scary!! Were you starting to load up your car with all your quilts and fabric?? So happy the winds turned and they got the fire under control! Whew!
CAROL - I love your Halloween quilt! I was going to ask you yesterday what pattern you were doing but got distracted and forgot. I think.
LORI - With some patterns, it takes a while for the fun to kick in.

IRISH - I'm so glad Nick, Tricia, and Coco will all be together soon. I'm not sure why Tricia needs papers from Poland (isn't she English?) and why Coco has to fly alone, but glad all the traveling will all be over soon. Do they have a place to live in FL already? Maybe I see a holiday trip to FL coming up in your future??
Our lemon pesto last night was terrific! I was so tired last night, though I had supper completely prepped before I collapsed so I turned the kitchen over to Bill. He cooked the pasta and added the sauce and the diced chicken and a generous sprinkling of parmesan. Maybe I was tired and hungry but it was REALLY good - and we have enough left for tonite! I might add some peas to it to stretch it out a bit more and make a salad, but mostly it will all be a heat'n'eat supper for tonite.
What about you?
