Supper Club April 26, 2023
Good morning ladies.
Tina, so glad you dad was okay. That was crazy with the cell. Hopefully the issue has been resolved.
Becca, I think I would want to be settled before I do anything too. It will be nice when you get your own place and have a home base. I think all guilds have issues. They go in cycles it seems.
Carol, I joined Beach cities guild because we plan on going to see their speakers. There's 3 of us that joined, so we go down early shop and have dinner. We just visited North cities. It's only a few miles from me. Just fun to get out of the house.
I did get a few things done yesterday. I made pillow covers for the patio pillows. They were ugly fabric, so I got out some blue indigo and made covers with zippers. They look much better.
Might do a late lunch and pass on dinner. We shall see.

Re: Supper Club April 26, 2023
Good afternoon!
It's a good thing I can drive defensively and not faster than my angels fly! A wonderful idiot driver, pulled out turning left in front of me, causing me to apply my brakes and lay on the horn. Then right behind that wonderful idiot, came out a second car, practically on the first car's bumper, which caused me into a full blown emergency application of brakes. I watched, bracing for my front end to nail his rear driver's side quarter panel. Don't ask me how I didn't, but I missed him completely. It would have sent that car spinning into all kinds of on coming traffic. It's a 4 lane road, with left turn lanes at this intersection. I am still shaking. I usually don't fall apart at things, but this was a little to close! Michael doesn't know yet, as he is with Ethan still at cello. There's a bumper sticker we've seen here, says, pray for me, I drive in Utah! So true!
So dinner is up in the air at this time.
Hugs and thanks for letting me vent,
Jana

Jana, you are so lucky. That happened to me years ago. I stopped, but the car behind me hit me 50 mph. No breaking.
You are very lucky no one was coming up behind you. You must be very rattled. I'm so glad your okay. That could have been really bad.

OK - here's the rest 9f the story, I didn't know until Michael just got home. Prayers certainly work! As Michael left to go get Ethan, he was prompted to stop before he drove off in our driveway, to say a prayer for safety, which he did. He always listens to those prompting. Glad he did.
