Supper Club April 24, 2023
Good Morning my quilty friends. I set the table since Mary is probably out of range.
I cleaned up my cutting table last night. It seems to accumulate a lot of stuff. I get ideas for things, pull fabrics cut, make a mess and then you can't even see the table.
I'm going with a friend to yet another guild tonight. North Cities quilt guild. It's actually quiet close.
Some of the members of our guild are in this one as well. We have an agreement with several other guilds now that we can take their workshops at their price and Vis versa. We're trying to fill up the classes.
I have grocery shopping for dad today. And of course Jack needs to walk me. I also have some other errands to do as well.
QAID is having a great sale on white on white fabric. I bought a bunch. I always need background fabric and white is easy.
Dinner will be out with a friend. Then on to the guild meeting.
Have a lovely day.

I stopped and got donuts on the way home from the grocery store. Sugar overload.

Hello to all sunny here but cooler in 60s Got early walk in
Lori Sometimes you need a treat Don’t feel guilty
Carol Think anyone who sews has hard time keeping the room clean and neat
Just look at all you accomplish & forget the mess
I have been doing a lot of correspondence Just sending cards to my big family is a chore I try to stay about 3 months ahead
Guess Maryz is relaxing now
I haven’t seen any clue on what tonight May bring in the Kitchen Denise is still not up to par
Have a great day. Becca

Good afternoon!
We are in a huge thunderstorm with hail big than quarters! My ground is totally covered white with hail balls. Lots of thunder and lightning. Noisy at my house!
Well, at least my old refrigerator is cleaned out nice and shiny. The new one was dented badly, so it was not accepted. Waiting to hear about the replacement. Plus, my old one is stuck and won't pull out. They will need to figure that out. Oh well, we wait...
Dinner - a quickie - steak, French fries and a salad.
Well, need to finish putting everything back,
Hugs,
Jana

It is overcast here today. Hopefully it will clear this afternoon. DH and I will go do some weights at the gym this morning then go for a walk. I want to plant some sunflower seeds and some green onions. I plan on spending time reorganizing my sewing room today.
Lori - Glad you read the Deal of Day more carefully than I did. I did get as much as I really wanted anyway.
Jana - Oh dear on the dents. Hope this isn't going to be a saga of the refrigerator delivery. Maryz had a problem remember?
Dinner will be chicken.

Hi everyone! I'm having a sleepless night so far. I went to the dentist for my cleaning and after ended up with a kink in my neck...... Between it and my leg I couldn't sleep and I hate to complain.
Becca, Denise sounds like Holly, she gets whopper migraines but has to go teach 27 second graders, they last for days with her too. I sure hope Denise gets rid of hers soon!
Jana, hail! We're in the 80's! The Rio Grande is getting lots and lots of Spring runoff! It is much need!
Lori, my sewing room is a twin of yours
Carol, you have overcast and we've had nothing but blue skies! They're playing with us though, the all knowing "they" say we have a chance for rain soon.... I'm sure hoping!
Last night I made whole wheat pancakes and tonight we had popcorn chicken in the air fryer and a salad, I mix mine all up together.
I got a scare yesterday.....Dad called me 15 times in 30 minutes but every time I'd answer the call would drop. I thought he had just forgotten to turn his truck off again and it was still connected through the blue tooth through the truck, it's happened before. So we went over and he wasn't home so we headed out to Hatch to find him because he went to church. I called my sister in law and she said she'd been receiving those same calls too and also my brother, I felt my heart in my throat then. I called the peaches wife and she said he had left before her nephew and he lives here in our town so he'd look for him from that way. She started getting those calls from Dad too, one right after the other so she called me back to tell me. Hatch is an hours drive away so we kept going and we made it all the way to Hatch and no Dad. I had asked Holly to go to his house and let us know if he showed up, thankfully he did right when we got to Hatch, 1½ hours after the first call to me. He said his phone wouldn't work through the truck and he couldn't get it to disconnect, he had pulled off the road 3 times trying to call us but it wouldn't work. He said it was the truck that kept calling everyone like that
We were all so relieved and thankful that he was home and ok.
