I was up very early this morning. My eyes sprang open and that was that! Looks like I'll get an early start in the sewing room today. Yesterday I got my cat quilt all together and ready to go into the QQ. I posted a photo if you'd like to see it. I laid those blocks out on the living room carpet several times while arranging them and each time Foxy ran and laid down right in the middle of all the other cats! lol! Today I am going to make my little sister, Teese, a patriotic tablerunner for her birthday. I already made her a Mickey Mouse tote, added a packet of daisy seeds (her favorite flower) and when I get this TR finished I'll pop the entire shebang in the mail to her. Her BD is April 30. If I still have sewing oomph left in me after finishing the runner, I will bind my Christmas Blizzard quilt. If not, I guess I'll do that tomorrow. And I really need to get busy on those labels.
JANA - have you got more snow? is school in session today? At your house still? Good thing you have a big table. One end is sewing room and one end is school room! And yes, you know it! about 58 hours to go!

BECCA - you have been having some nice walking weather! It's in the 30's here in the mornings. I am so bundled up I feel like the little kid in Christmas story! How did Frankie's dr appt go? I bet your family is thrilled to have her finally!
CAROL - you've really traveled the U.S. How did you get to CA from Ohio? I'm always interested in why people move. I actually lived in Denver for about 2-1/2 months once back in 1974. Circumstances with DH1's job changed and we moved back home. Were our moms ever happy about that!!.
Supper tonite is still up in the air, but I do have a meatloaf in the freezer and potatoes to bake. Lots of carrots, too. Don't think I'll buy them at Costco again!
What's happenin' in your kitchen?
