Our mornings are chilly here. Low 50's. No morning coffee on the deck this past week. The weather is changing and when we get back from camping in a few weeks we'll probably be taking in the deck cushions and calling it a summer. Sigh.
Yesterday was packed full, but at a slow pace - grocery shopping, cooking, and a spot of sewing. I got the last borders on my last Nutcracker and now it's time for "scrap play". I'll see what I can come up with. It's such a specific fabric line that I'd like to use it all up in projects for Aut if possible. So today will be taking Scottie to the bark park and then goofing off in the sewing room.
CAROL - I've seen some quilting patterns of ballet slippers. They are about $15 to download so we might do that on the Nutcracker quilts. It's a pretty specific pattern but since we're going two quilts it would be worth it. I'm intrigued by your apricot tree.
BECCA - so nice to have a good visit with old friends. And extra prayers never hurt! Yes, my mom had a lot of health problems. Yes for the most part, she never complained. She died in 1989 but I still miss her a lot.
Last night's supper came out great! Who knew that if you follow the directions in the cookbook a pork roast could turn out so well!

What are you making tonite?
