Supper Club Tuesday August 30, 2022
I thought I'd start the thread this morning. I didn't post yesterday. Got busy and forgot.
I finished up a Halloween quilt top from the last swap. Need to dye a back and get it quilted.
Not sure what dinner will be today.
Have a lovely day.

Good afternoon!
Our sweet neighbor next door brought over a ton of deli sandwiches that she had left over from a party at their home and shared with us. That was dinner last night. Tonight will be raviolas and a salad. Karlie loves anything that is pasta!
I got all the Candy Corn quilt pieces cut, assembled in the proper baggie and put in the box, so when I can make noise and do embroidery work on the machine, I am ready. Kari is often on the phone, so I am limited to when I can sew.
Also got all the book keeping caught up so Michael can do the budget for September. I decimated the budget this month. new clock, new glasses, etc! He will needing his turnip, that he gets money out of. He has a very good garden of those!
Tomorrow will be a busy day here - running kids to school, preschool and picking them all up. I have Gracie in one school, Ethan and Karlie in another and Lila in a third, different place for preschool. All different parts of the city - so glad that they get out at different times to make it all work.
I am here in the Batt Cave, just working on quiet projects.
Hugs,
Jana

Re: Supper Club Tuesday August 30, 2022
Good Evening,
Today I went to the Farmer's Market and bought corn, so for dinner it was corn and leftover meatloaf and tomatoes.
Also got a DTaP shot. My niece wants anyone who will be around the new baby to get a DTaP shot or have had one within five years. My last booster was eleven years ago so I went and got the shot. I had been thinking I needed to get a Tetanus shot. Glad to get it done. While at the doctor's office I also scheduled the Flu shot for when we return from vacation. We are trying to space these injections, so I am doing fairly well with spacing, I am not so sure of DH. He has been procrastinating the Shingles vaccination. DH will be getting his shingles shot tomorrow. I have met my deductible and unfortunately, he has not so he will be paying quite a bit more for the shot. He talked to insurance and that is what he was told.
Jana - How nice of your neighbor to bring you sandwiches. Glad you got the quilt cut. I know how you feel about spending this past month. I too bought a new pair of glasses.
Lori - Thanks for starting the thread. Good for you dyeing your fabric! Hope it comes out perfect!
Needless to say, I did not sew anything today. I was in and out of my sewing room and trying to corral the papers.
Good Night Everyone!
Carol
