SUPPER CLUB Monday, August 29th

Good morning everyone!

Mary is glamping so thought I'd set the table for us all.

Oh you all should see baby Elijah, what a cutie! He has me in awe he's such a good and calm baby I held and talked to him for about 30 minutes, he just watched me and tried to talk and smiled a couple times..... Be still my heart

We got home around 9 last night and put what we need to away, took showers and went to bed and zonked out! We were beat!

Today is kinda relaxing and the AC tech will be here. Our AC started not working right Friday afternoon ish and wouldn't cool so we called this morning. We're new to the AC world but I think a brand new unit in May should not be having troubles?

Hmmm supper......I know something with chicken, just not sure yet.

Tina - Thanks for starting the Supper Club today. You must be walking on air today thinking of the Elijah. It is definitely good to be you today. My niece said she wants everyone holding the baby to have had a DTAP shot within five years. I called my doctor this morning and it had been 11 years, so I am getting a shot tomorrow morning. I want to hold the baby. It has been a very long time since our family has had a baby.

Dinner tonight will be Chicken and Rice Casserole. (I hope that inspires you, Tina.)

My dentist appointment went well. He does not feel I need four new crowns and did not mention that he thinks I am grinding my teeth. I called the dentist office where I used to go and cancelled the cleaning appointment I had for November. Luckily, I could use the excuse of distance to the office. My DH will also be changing. Now I think I will have lunch and make a few more phone calls, then work on house cleaning. Maybe I will sneak in some sewing time.

That does sound good Carol, chicken and rice! Yummy. They're here working on the AC, if they get that fixed where I can turn my oven on I will make that, I love chicken and rice casserole! Thanks.

Tina- sounds like a real sweetie, that little Elijah is! Lots of lip prints 9n that little face, I am sure!

Home from the eye doctor. Good report. The start of a cataract and a few beginnings of macular degeneration. He will continue to watch it. I go again in 6 months for another scan. My mom had macula degeneration for many years and they are watching me now. Re-adjusted my prescriptions and my new glasses will be finished in about two weeks. The Dr has a new machine that eliminates the need to dilate your eyes, so nice!

Dinner - probably brats, grilled, with caramelized onions and a ear of fresh corn.

Not much else around here. Karlie is home, she was running a fever last night, but is much better now. Just playing quietly with toys.

Jana, my older brother has macular degeneration and his eye dr has him taking a prescription for it, it seems to help. I'll try to remember to ask him what it is and tell you so if you want you can ask your dr about it.

Hello everyone kind of late here Been a busy day crammed with lots of errands appts & etc I got my hearing aid checked My hearing hadn’t changed I also got my oil changed picked up chair I had recaned
Our son Alex wants it It sat in his Great great Grandpas General Store many years ago

Jana I was told I had Macular Degeneration but it turned out to be a puker Hope yours stays the same
We had sandwiches because I got home late I made pancakes for supper
