We had such a pretty day yesterday. I hung flannel sheets on the line and they dried! I didn't even have to finish them in the dryer. Bill washed both vehicles and the fur-boys simply basked in the sunshine. We also did a big Costco run and I spent an hour stocking the cabinets and fridge. I worked a little on DWR and, for the first time this year, I sat out on our deck with some quilting mags and sipped a cool drink. (Ok, a margarita, if you must know.

The uglies are all caught up, the laundry is done, the grocery shopping is complete. I think today I will bake something and sew something. While looking through a magazine yesterday - forget which one and I'm too lazy to go look - I found a pattern that I kind of fell in love with. It has pieced stars in 3 or 4 different sizes all over it. I think they were Ohio stars. I am picturing that quilt done in bright batik stars of various colors set on a background of dark blue with little winky stars. We'll see if I'm tired of working with batiks after I finish the DWR. This might be my next project.
CHICKIE is still in the hospital but is feeling much better. They are doing a lot of tests, and tweaked her meds some. But the IV fluids with electrolyte replenishment have really helped her, too.
BECCA - More family visits to look forward to. It's good to be you!
LORI - Did you finish up that quilt you were working on? What's next?
MARY ROSE - sorry the EQ7 is so confusing. But you are doing better than I would be!!
I was thinking of pork chops and mashed potatoes for supper but then remembered, DH is having anesthesia at 7:30 tomorrow morning. I have learned the hard way to eat lightly the day before so maybe it will just be poached eggs, or possibly pancakes. Or perhaps tomato soup and grilled cheese. I'll let him choose.
What's your choice for tonite?
